How are they decided?

Will there be a special Project Ares way?
Or multiple maps, for the different ways of working it out?

Anunia Convention charter thing is actually the most accurate way to do it I think.

In the MRWS, they have a system whereby you buy new troops every year. You have an Annual Defence Budget based on how many active citizens and how many active military men you have, which is then spent.

Wow! That sounds like a great idea! It really does.

Basic problem is if you're a member of the MRWS for 2 years you have twice as many troops as someone who's been a member for 1 year with the same number of troops. It's rather crazy like that. There's no cost to maintain your troops so you're sort of building them up until there's a war. If one nation decides to skip one war, next war they'll have many more troops at their disposal.

I like the simple premise of SNARL and Anunia - if you have commanders, they can command troops. Troops without a commander are useless. In MRWS you can keep buying troops for the same commanders every year until 5 years from now each commander is commanding 5x the number of troops of every other commander in micronationalism.

Just in case anyone's thinking "tl, dr", I'm saying: ANUNIA PLZ.

Glad to see its being used ...
Troops that were on a map like this and actively being 'developed' would count for that little bit of bonus experience in Anunia ...
