Cranda and Arminy
Hello all, sorry if this is not the proper forum!
I was involved in micronations between 2001-2006 (or so) when I founded Cranda and also helped form Arminy by merging with Slobovia a bit later.
I was wasting some time online when I decided to search the MCS and I discovered that all the cities etc. from Cranda and Arminy are actually still on the map, which just boggles my mind. They belong to Lontinien and Lac Glacei these days, with the later even claiming the crown of Cranda and Arminy. I'm really curious about this - wasn't able to find a link to a forum (or whatever micronations use these days). If anyone can help me out, I'd love to have a look (I'm not thinking about getting involved again, just really amazed that something I started as a 13 year old 20 years ago is still around in some form on the internet). I'd also be happy to share the things I made for Cranda/Arminy with whoever is running the current nations (I think I still have most of it, though of course the forums are long gone).
Best,
Johanns von Klosso

Re: Cranda and Arminy
The odds of your cities surviving all that time through numerous iterations of other nations claiming the land are quite long, so it's amazing that some remnants have managed to stick around! Most things are done on the wiki now, but this tends to be described more "in character", so wouldn't usually mention any out of character developments that have happened in the meantime, although Lontinien's article does specifically mention that the name is Crandish in origin, so you might find what you're after looking around the wiki!

Re: Cranda and Arminy
Howdy, welcome back. You might remember me under the alias of WarVoid; I don't recall which handle I used back in Cranda. Lac Glacei is my pet project and has kept the memory of Cranda, Vaan Aujoen, Arminy, Northworthy and the like alive. Ric is still running Lontinien, Hurmu and Transprinitica (Slobovia). Between the two of us we kind of brought back the previous history of the area, re-writing most of the events that transpired as a fictional narrative. Most of what you see is stuff I saved in my archives from back then, and even so a great deal has been lost over the years. Always happy to add more depth to the wiki, so please feel free to share whatever you wish and we'll do our best to incorporate it. In any event, good to see you're still alive and well!
