Calandar Writers
If you want to help out, this year then please state your name and how many (roughly.. you aren't tied to the number but a large percentage of whatever you state would be cool) you'd want to do.
If you've been hiding under a rock, or are new to us, the MCS calandar is a yearly map-basede advent calandar, under which is a short (usually rhyming) poem for every nation the advent 'box' hovers over.
We don't know where the boxes are yet, but if you have any 'facts' about or significant events in your nation that have happened this year that may be useful to us writers, do post them! Some nations are quite hard to write for...

Re: Calandar Writers
You can't do your own.. prolly should have mentioned that before.
You can do stormarks, if you want?.. but you're not allowed to write it within the country. Ruins the surprise.
Edit: if anyone does write a poem, please PM to me or spangle.. as its better with the surprise factor.. which is what I'm trying to maintain.

Re: Calandar Writers
Can I have links to past advents so I don't pretty much write the same thing from years past?
I claim 2/12 and 3/12.

Re: Calandar Writers
My 2007 contributions haven't improved with age
Re: Calandar Writers
Waiting until the 21st is brutal. Anyway, submitted my two dates. May do some more later.
I also suggest that in this next calendar, and subsequent calendars that you accept public submission, put a credits box in the corner to acknowledge who has put in. No one has to know which poems they did, even though they can just come onto this thread and find out who reserved what, just a little credit for contributions.

Re: Calandar Writers
The first day of the advent calendar has opened!
See it now at http://micras.org/advent/
You may notice a difference this year in that the panels link to a page containing the full poem, this way larger poems may be used
We have poems of the 1st through the 11th now apparently, topics for the 12th onwards are:
