I put my name forward to judge when I first replied, although if you don't want me to, that's fine :)

Sorry, missed that! Yes, you're a judge.

Thanks for the nod, Andreas. To be more specific, the 'others' were Nargoth and Z-hin'il (I don't think either of them have accounts on this forum), who each significantly helped by contributing to the sections in which their characters have dialogue.

I would also like to fourth the nomination of Scott for Archipelago and second the nomination of Einhorn for the Silver Yak Horde.

Josh Coales Award for Best New Idea: Scott Alexander - Archipelago Project
Rebecca Panks Award for the Graphic Artz: Herr Goltz of Ashkenatza - the maps published during the World Expo '11

And thanks for the nomination of the A1NS :)

Nick's contributions have been outstanding - I wish to nominate him for both the Bill Dusch Award for Cultural Development (for the Silver Yak Horde) and the Andreas the Wise Award for Economics (For his constant dedication to economic dedication at a time when few (I must include myself in that list, shamefully) gave much attention to that area).

I would also like to nominate the whole of Alexandria (if that's doable) for the Erik Mortis Award for Leadership (they have undergone an amazing spurt of activity in all areas due in no small part to their dedication and persistence).

(Also - thanks for the nomination Scott, but PSI doesn't just produce stuff for the AMK; we're our own company and the arms race between the maroon republic and hideous revisionist-khanist-autocrats (etc etc etc) is largely a separate issue that happens naturally to affect our products and business strategy)

And done. Should be accessible only to those who are judges as well. Merry Christmas

Ja, my last name is Turner and I would greatly appreciate that being mended promptly - on the very slight and unusual event that I do win whatever award(s) I've been nominated for, I don't want to be given an award that doesn't have my name on it. You might as well just scrap the award at that point as I would have literally no use for it.

Edited in, though normally before any medals are created people are asked what exact name they'd like on it.

I'll withdraw my own self-nomination. Clearly if nobody agrees with me, then I don't deserve to be classified.

It just feels wrong, I don't want to be going for an award that nobody else thinks I'm worthy of.

It's not like the judges have any say in the matter.

I was always under the impression that the overall achievement category was more about lifetime achievement than "it didn't fit in any other category", and that it was more of a personal than a joint thing. Could Scott's and my nomination be split up?
