Best New Idea:
Jezza for introducing cabbage as a Micras-wide pest that has killed various people and torn countries in war.

No compliment is valued as greatly as one given for cabbage!
Re: Fnord Awards for 2013!
I nominate myself for cultural development. I have turned a desolate plot of hills and two small settlements with zero permanent residents into a well oiled, goldproducing machine thats' majority of the population is of an ethnic group located nowhere else on the planet. I have uncovered the untouched remnants of the native Shirerothian people and have established a small religion of dieties whose power can be summoned by all deemed worthy. Two new towns/cities have been established and the worthless city of Kingsgate has been transformed into a global effort towards the most glorious center of future diplomatic interactions and I have access to the most potent alcoholic beverages, cleanest fuel, and most effective medicines. My county is prepairing to install trade relations with Elwynn, it has doubled in size (thanks primarily to the Duke, though I suggested my borders), its name has even changed, and its Count (yours truely) has beem found to hail from the most mysterious Kaiser's lineage.
I realize that this boastfulness is out of character (curse Benkern for that pun) but I thonk that I have actually earned this one. I'm only a nominee for most promising NEW micronationalist because I'm the first new guy in quite a long while.
Thank you.

Re: Fnord Awards for 2013!
I'd also like to make some nominations. Although you must forgive me as I haven't been back long enough to make nominations in most of the catagories, although I am sure that all mentioned above are more than worthy.
Award for Journalism ("the Iain"): Liam Sinclair: The Corprieta Standard: By far the best news outlet around.
Award for Overall Achievement ("the Shane"): August Charles II (Gotzborg): For maintaining the Micronation in some form or another for what will be 25 years in 2014.
Award for "'Tis but a flesh wound": Jess
Again I must apologise for not nominating more this year. Having won Two myself, I know how I felt just to be nominated by my peers, let alone win. On this basis I don't wish to nominate for the sake of nomination. I can only go by what I myself have experienced since my return.
Best of Luck to everyone

I'd like to nominate Bjorn Olsen for the Award for Art. This year he has done amazing work, not only for Gotzborg but others throughout the community, to update heraldry and create other images, including an incredibly unique 25th Anniversary logo for Gotzborg.

Re: Fnord Awards for 2013!
Chloe is a Landesbarn (Child of the Country), therefore she was on the Nationality Roll ever since her parents joined Stormark in 2004 but she, of course, was too young to participate. In December 2011 she popped up briefly to test the waters with severe restrictions, but was fairly quickly deemed to young by her mother to deal with the harsh enviroment that micronationalism can be. In August this year her mother allowed her to fully participate without any restrictions.Elijah Ayreon wrote:Hasn't Chloe been around for years...?
