Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
I will try and get something together. I have a LOT of other things to write before then so I will try my best to produce something decent.

Any contribution would be appreciated! I'm currently working on my article for the inaugural issue, about half-done its scope.

Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
The Journal covers all aspects of micronationalism. The list I provided of subject areas was simply done up to try to tackle as many as I could think of at the top of my head so people had some idea as to where they could focus their energy. Of course articles on language would be welcomed!Carl wrote:Also, it'd be nice if there were a Language section. :3
Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
I am thinking to do a basic modelling of the Hammish political system noting its key features and explaining them. Hopefully that can form the basis of other works on countries and lead to some sort of comparative politics. Would be very beneficial for the community to understand different systems. Have a lot of work, as I said, but will try.

That would be an interesting read for sure. My article is doing some number (pixel) crunching on MCS reductions/expansions to provide as an informational article.
Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
I'm still planning on writing articles, I've just been buried lately with university projects, work, life, etc.
One article I've been keen to write for a while is a feasibility study of a physical (real-world) micronation and the challenges/limitations posed therein based on existing U.S. and international law(s).

Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
I'll try and do something up on micronational economics - maybe reworking some of my earlier writings on the subject, updated with more recent experience, of course.

Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
I think both of your articles would be quite insightful so I certainly hope that you are able to find enough spare time to contribute!
Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
Interesting concept, though I fear any remarks I would be able to make are woefully out of date, the way the hobby has changed.
Are there any "sample" articles I can look at for a baseline here?

Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
There are no sample articles at the moment. Maybe wait for the first issue to come out to see exactly how contributors are writing articles?
Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
Fair enough.
Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
I have decided that I will publish my works in Pure Nafticon instead of the Journal of Micronational Studies, I am also stepping down as editor.
Re: Journal of Micronational Studies
That is rather disappointing.
