This thread is for announcing the creation of new entries in my series of electoral simulation spreadsheets, and for updates to existing ones.

First up will be the Sainte-Laguë electoral spreadsheet, version 1.1.

Features include, but are not limited to:

• An accurate implementation of the Sainte-Laguë electoral system, using the provinces/states/etc of your micronation as constituencies
• Support for up to 12 parties, 120 MPs per province, and as many provinces as Excel can fit into a spreadsheet
• Options to input vote totals nationally or on a provincial level
• The ability to set an electoral threshold
• Customizable political positions for both parties and provinces

Changes from version 1.1 include:

• More realistic apportionment using the user's choice of the Hare or Droop quotas, as a macronational legislature most likely would
• Provinces capped at 120
• Clearer instructions
• Bug fixes
