News from the PRKM - I am back

Hi everyone, I’m not sure if anyone here still remembers me or was even on here when I used to be involved in Micronations. Basically I used to/ still do in its inactive state, run the nation of the People’s Republic of K-Marx (PRKM). It never really took off and I became active within the nation of Bobolania, becoming deputy prime minister and then prime minister. This was all about 10+ years ago! My interest in Micronations never really ended I just got too busy to continue. Now I feel like I have a bit more time on my hands and I found my old nations forum at http://prkm.proboards.com/ done a bit of archiving and tidying and now looking to become active again. At the moment I’m seeing my nation take on the form of a SimCity region journal with a bit of added fluff thrown in for good measure. All updates on the regions progres being regularly posted onto our forum and then going from there.
So I just wanted to say hi and... I’m back ☺️

Welcome back! I do have a vague memory of K-Marx - it was shame it never made it to Micras the first time around, so hopefully things are a bit more successful now :D

Thank you :D
I remember you from here and also back in Bobalania too!
Yes my first attempt was probably a run before I walk attempt. This time around I will be focusing on developing my forum, posting regular updates on the city's development ect. then maybe look at requesting some land on Micras.
How is your nation doing?

Yeah, Bobalania was a cool little place in its prime! Since you were last around these parts, we've started to utilise MicrasWiki a lot more too - so you're able to develop things there as well as your forum if it helps :)

Ha it really was!
Ah ok :D so I don't need to be a nation on Micras then to add my nation to the wiki?

No, not at all - though it does help if the nation does aim to claim on Micras at some point :P

Also, I just noticed your earlier question. Craitland's doing okay, still plodding along supported by football posts and the occasional election. We're based on the Bastion now though; our original forum went offline around 2013 sometime...

Ok cool, I will look into creating a page for us then. I still aim to one day secure an island on Micras for the PRKM! I just need to remember where it was  there's two that ring a bell when looking at the map...

That's good to hear! I am glad it is still holding up :D Bastion? Is that a union ect.?

Unfortunately the image of K-Marx's first attempted claim has been lost, so I'm not able to tell you where it was :(

Kind of. It's a supranational forum that a few nations share for ease of travelling, but isn't a political union in itself: https://bastionunion.org/forum/index.php

From my memory it was an island off Corum, I’m not sure though if it was where Hóm City once was or where Kuramizu currently is. But I’m sure it was off that coastline.
Ah ok that sounds good and, as you say, an easy and quick way to travel between nations. I’ll go and take a look and join up, in need of some new diplomatic relations

I have a vague recollection of K-Marx. The name sticks because it reminds me of K-Mart. :P I think I may have even joined as a governor of Engels or Guevara....
