Just some more that I've been working on. Again I've done a few variations to see what people prefer;

Firstly, a few Micras variations, (yet again, I know!);

Next, a few renders of Atos, again some variations;

Finally two of Tarsica;

Please feel free to suggest any ammendments, and remember I'm willing to work on other planets/renders, I need descriptions or maps though. Also, once the final render for Micras has been decided if the MCS would like to provide me with cloud maps for different weather scenarios, I can render accordingly.

Very nice! Thank you for doing Tarsica, James.

One little picky thing I'd like to note is that Tarsica is covered with a fair amount of permafrost and that the equatorial lakes have water in them. Is it possible to somehow more distinctly show those features?

Sure, I'll see what I can do.

I think the first and third Micras variations are better than the second. Atos looks lovely in all, particuarly the second.

Tarsica is really good... you could lighten the altitude or make it gradient... Maybe I'll make a special version of map for this rendering...

Number three of the Micran render is wonderful!

Four, five and six remind me of the planet that the USS Enterprise passes in the opening sequence to the Original Series :P

I would suggest that for atos you do some more surface features (sunspots, large flares etc.)
