Getting Started
Getting Started
We about ready to get this ball rolling? It seems about everyone that's going to participate has moved their forces into position and is eyeing eachother suspiciously, but there's only so much more of that we can do. I'm ready for some violence.
So what do we need to do yet? Do you guys need to register your forces and OrBats, or something?

Re: Getting Started
I and the other judges need Mod powers to open the official battle thread and all combatants need to put their Orbats in Preparation Board and agree on a certain date to begin the war.

Re: Getting Started
I'll just say now that I'm going to be away from late tommorow till the 5th of January. If it starts before then, I'll just have to sit out the first few days. I'll try and do my orbat today.

Re: Getting Started
Batavia still has to start participating. Jonas Windsor is acting on the behalf of Maraguo and I guess Jeroen van Veen will be acting on the behalf of Batavia, if he's not too busy.
(I should introduce myself first I guess. I am Maximilian (in Batavia Max van Bunthe-Uné), the Batavian minister of state security)

Is the war closed for new people to post orbats once it has begun?

Re: Getting Started
Anunia Convention, Section II (Politics):
Section IV (Forces):D. Belligerent parties can include nations, organizations, and individuals. Once a war has started, no new belligerent party may join except at the invitation of a belligerent party already participating. See section IV.O for details on where they can start.
Does that answer your question at all Nicholas?O. Any person joining the war midway, where fighting has occured within the country they are fighting for (whether because their country is already involved in the war and they are only now joining and posting their orbat, or because of an agreement by their country to allow fighting within it before their country entered the war) MUST start within their country's capital. Where their country's capital is occupied by the enemy, they must start in a suitable friendly location agreed between them and the enemy occupying the capital. Where their country has not had fighting occuring within it already, it is assumed their forces may already have been mobilised and may start anywhere within their country's territory.

Re: Getting Started
The flag Jonas posted is the Batavian flag indeed. The flag in my signature is the flag of Dietsland, a province of Batavia.
Jonas, you're the Duke of Davignon, you should encourage such Dietsan proud!
Anyway, enough Batavian interior talk.

So if you're 15 hours behind me... that means it'll start 3pm on that day for me... ok, that gives me time to sort my orbat.
