Ardashir Khan-Longbow-Forhorn casualties
Just a forum for Ardashir, Foghorn, and I to discuss casualties. Here, so that we don't clutter the battleground.
Ardashir- I misunderstood your post- I thought that all 9 planes were attacking Ura'Bos. But I get now that there were 6 there, and 3 back at your main camp.
proposal for A-A casualties: the 6 bombers that attacked Ura'Bos were shot down by the four fighters, and one fighter was damaged.
The 3 bombers that stayed back: the one on recon was shot down, and one was damaged, but the other escaped. Three of my planes were shot down (out of the 2 fighters, 8 bombers, and 6 gunships)- your pick which (as I don't know which you would target first)
your thoughts?
As per the ground casualties: I was under the impression that they were still in Airosamente. I'm guessing that they were not? My main target was your troops, not the city itself.

Re: Ardashir Khan-Longbow-Forhorn casualties
I'll take three gunships on the grounds that hitting them is the most plausible with the anti-aircraft weapons available to me, the two missiles of the Canberras now sadly no longer with us and the 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine guns of the forty tanks that have been placed in defensive hull down positions.
Agreed on the losses of 3 Flight.
We'll take your mistaken initial targetting of the city as gospel truth, giving the FOB enough time to go to red alert... makes the rough time given to the Spectres plausible... that however still means that it is going to take a pounding.
Cantonment Kampfgruppe Becks:
12 Alfil MBTs knocked out of action (inc. four in hull down defensive positions)
6 Tracked Long Range Reconnaissance Vehicles knocked out of action (low priority target - probably a waste of ammo, most destroyed as collatoral damage to sangars and MBTs)
146 Infantry Dead, 280 Wounded ('15 Platoon' Sangar destroyed)
Cantonment Kampfgruppe Carlsberg:
7 Alfil MBTS, all in hull down defensive positions, destroyed, although 3 may be salvageable
40 Tracked LRVs destroyed - a lucky hit on vehicles parked carelessly close together in violation of standing orders. Mobility of KG Carlsberg significantly impaired.
345 Infantry Wounded, conversely showed the best reaction time in getting to shelters and firing positions after first warning
Cantonment Kampfgruppe Carling:
9 Alfil MBTs, all in hull down defensive positions, destroyed, 4 show potential for salvage
20 Tracked LRVs destroyed
50 Infantry dead ('1 Platoon' Sangar destroyed)
Kampfgruppe Stella:
No casualties, off site.
HQ Section:
1 Clerk fragged by shrapnel after being caught outside having a cigarette when the first bombs dropped.
KGSD:
0 - Persistent little buggers.

Will 4 dead and 25 injured appease the Great Satan?
