Satellites - Extreme and Longbow.
I can report that after three days of searching, Longbow has failed to locate Extreme's surface fleet. None of his chosen search spots even come near.
He may have detected the laying of mines or passive sonar bouys, andmay have detected a sub (though probably not, as it's underwater). Extreme, I will forward you the image and you can say what you think he would have seen.
Longbow, you therefore have three options.
1. You can stop your route where indicated (before where you started searching), and continue searching for a day or more.
2. You can forget searching and continue on further north, in an attempt to find him. Draw in a new route. Where it intercepts stuff, then we start from there.
3. You can do both - continue searching while continuing on further north. Draw a line 500 pixels higher. If it intercepts, stuff happen. If you find them during that time, you can change your route from that time (indicate the exact order you search in, and I'll know what time of day you find them). If nothing happens on either front, you can continue for another day.
In all three options Extreme can, of course, move his ships.

Re: Satellites - Extreme and Longbow.
Had a look. I doubt either happened. Sub, like you said, is underwater, so that didn't get seen. And the other items are too small to be spotted, unless off course the satellites used a high-resolution image of a very small area. Remember the pic I sent you Andreas? On that, the 6x6 pixel square would only show a moving ship. You'd have to go deeper resolution (say 5x5 to 4x4) to perhaps spot my stationary ship. And then probably more deeper (say 3x3 or 2x2) to spot an aircraft. He may have detected the laying of mines or passive sonar bouys, andmay have detected a sub (though probably not, as it's underwater). Extreme, I will forward you the image and you can say what you think he would have seen.
Also, like I mentioned in PM, the order to scan for my ships went out after my move was made. Thus, its probably unlikely that longbow spotted anything.

Yeah, I've accepted your pm argument that you pm'd that move soon after you started the battle with North, and in RL, Longbow only set off on the Camel a day or so after that point, and hence, wouldn't see it.
Longbow, sorry, you found nothing. You have your three options. Extreme may continue to move.

I'm back and able to judge for the moment. Thanks for covering for me, Andreas.

You're welcome, Monty. I'll send you the map of Extreme's current positions in Toketi so you know where he moves them from.
