And it gets Interesting
Here's where you get the judge disputing you because of other secret moves.extreme007 wrote:Military Action
Somewhere South of Nang
"Got her. Tagged the target. Do you have the firing solutions?" asked the captain.
"Yes captain."
"Fire all torpedoes." ordered the captain. And with that four torpedoes sped away towards the white ship at Nang. On the sides of the large superstructure of the ship, as well as on the smokestack, was a big red cross mark on it.
"Fire the missiles as planned. I want to see the torpedoes hit. Alert me at the first sign of enemies."
Summary:
X-200, one my submarines, fires 4 torpedoes at Jeremy's Helena ship to keep up the tradition.
It then fires 30 Tomahawks at Nova Kajar.
10 with BLU-96 FAE submunitions (fuel air explosives).
10 with BLU-97 submunitions (effective against armor, personnel and material).
8 are the base tomahawk version (thus, nothing fancy).
2 with BLU-96 FAE submunitions (fuel air explosives) aimed at the archaeological dig site, where Andreas is/was. (If this interferes with the story, let me know).
The missiles are obviously aimed at the enemy positions.
Two questions: wait, three, but one isn't as Judge.
1. How long has that submarine been in that position? In particular, how many days ago did it get near Jasonia?
2. I was going to ask Chrimrigules if he'd been counting your missiles, but Wikipedia says you have 50, which, if I read it right, you fire in volleys of eight. So don't worry about that.
And my non-judge third question:
Which enemy? Are you against the Omen, or are you a side of one now?
(Another non-judge point - yes, firing missiles at the Archaeological dig would seriously mess with the storyline. However, since we're deep underground and there are no actual armed forces there (half a dozen Hyperborean Archaeologists who are clearly no longer on your side, and one Andreas) Andreas is allowed to act normal (ie use magic to reinforce the tunnels and stop any problems - a simple Astral Earth would suffice) I'll just continue that bit as if the missiles don't actually do anything but collapse a few tunnels.)

They were there long before your NSS Camel started its journey towards my surface fleet. There might have been a chance of hitting and sinking this ship right away, but I decided not to and give longbow the change to fight me. Obviously his unit wouldn't have been expecting to my submarines soo far from Toketi as well as from North's position!1. How long has that submarine been in that position? In particular, how many days ago did it get near Jasonia?
That is correct. I am keeping track of the missiles on my submarines. At the moment, this particular ship is out of 34 weapons, leaving itself with 16.2. I was going to ask Chrimrigules if he'd been counting your missiles, but Wikipedia says you have 50, which, if I read it right, you fire in volleys of eight. So don't worry about that.
Unfortunately, I wasn't informed about the Omen going mercenary so to speak. I was thinking about giving my characters that knowledge after this strike. Next, I was thinking that maybe I should send a message to Omen saying the mercenaries should unite against the Nelagans/Novatainians/Toketians (as I am unaware of the real intentions of the Omen). However, I think one of my allies (like Lovely for instance) would have been quick to point out what the real intentions of Omen really are and thus, I would break my "relationship" with them and fire at them instead.Which enemy? Are you against the Omen, or are you a side of one now?
But for now, I am just going to sit back and watch everyone take down the Omen (once I find out Omen is actually the bad and everyone else is good).
See, that's why I asked to tell us what all the plan is. In such a case, assume these two missiles are also headed towards Nova Kajar. This way your use of magic wont be required !(Another non-judge point - yes, firing missiles at the Archaeological dig would seriously mess with the storyline. Also, I hope that you guys are not planning on making those islands float again. That would be crazy!

1. Ok, that's fine. Well south the whole time?
2. Fine
3. You probably could go mercenary allied with Omen. Considering the way Nickleson's characters been developed thus far, it would work fine. Up to you.
4. Well, I did respond as soon as I got online ....

If you mean, they got involved with your fleet coming out of Bryden... not. Nor any of the ships that are near Lovely/antica battle region, which I understand is taking place someplace North?1. Ok, that's fine. Well south the whole time?
Aye. That's what I was thinking, given we both are mercenaries. But I think I shall just sit and see the action from afar.3. You probably could go mercenary allied with Omen. Considering the way Nickleson's characters been developed thus far, it would work fine. Up to you.
If there was a point 4 that I made, it was aimed at SaiKar's response to my request to get more information about the story.4. Well, I did respond as soon as I got online ....
