I'm with "Saikar" on this one, Guido's post isn't even funny and is most simply described as pathetic.

@Nick: Don't worry, there'll be plenty more as you get older.

Demon of the North wrote:Im sorry Monty i missed your post. What exactly is being questioned?

that a carrier such as the USS Nimitz carries defensive missile platforms?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nimitz_class

if i happened to have put electromagnetic catapults on there for launching aircraft, i will give you its not current but it is upcoming, Ford class carriers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerald_R._ ... ft_carrier

as for the drones they are basically predator drones. i believe they were just to keep an eye on whats going on in the world around the carrier, detect other ships land targets ect.
I never mentioned carriers, North.

SaiKar wrote:Vilhelm. I have no problem with people not participating in the recwar making comments or even criticisms, but this is trolling. I don't know who Guido is and frankly I find myself not caring too much to find out. I know recwars are just supposed to be fun, but it's a game like any other, and his posts are the equivilent of throwing a handfull of tiles onto a scrabble board or yelling out the ending in a crowded movie theature. The fun of the game is playing and talking about it, not making a mockery of the game. If Guido can't control himself I am asking you, as a judge of this event, to take measure to ensure he doesn't disrupt the recwar just because he can.
He's allowed to be an idiot at the cost of looking like an idiot. I have told him not to post in the Official War thread. If he disrupts the coherence of the Recwar, measures will be taken, but for now I see no reason to take any drastic steps against someone who has merely posted a few satirical (arguably funny/unfunny) posts in an orbat thread.

(By the way, you don't want to know who Guido is :P)

It probably was funny in the first war he did it in, but he's been doing it in every war we've had here for pretty much the last two years now and it's getting pretty old now.

Of course I won't disrupt the war, that would be retarded, but if you want a troll to go away then stop feeding it...

Go find it yourself. I seem to remember in the most recent war you just decided to have an aircraft carrier with no planes just to be a pain in the arse.

Hmm...

For this war, my orbat shall consist of one person with the following items:

8 track tape (unlabeled), Flashlight (no batteries), Half eaten box of Fig Newtons, Measuring tape, Instructions to "Monopoly."

I call him MacGuyver!

Nah, not really. I just broke stuff in Shireroth, no time for this nonsense.
