Anti-Nelagan side Orbats
For Shirerithians, Maraguans, Babkhans (?) and general contrarians. Right now we're badly imbalanced with everyone on the Nelagan side, so if you're thinking of participating in the war but don't have any preference, please join this side.
Total: 25,000 pointsRaikoth Kayarkajaphranion Nelacha (Hyperborean Task Force "Nelaga")
High Commander: Tephi Ara Gal Sekion
"Wind" Unit (backstory only, not to be used in fighting)
Commander: Ophi Antarion
3 Opal-class airships: "Holiness", "Goodness", "Silence"
- can carry about 2,500 people plus vehicles, equipment, etc
- lightly armed and armored
- similar in concept to the Department of Defense's Walrus Program
"Lightning" Unit (backstory only, not to be used in fighting)
Commander: Lithe Simprekion
1 Fire Opal-class airship: "Luminescence"
- can carry about 5,000 people plus vehicles, equipment, etc
- substantially armed and armored
- similar in concept to the Department of Defense's Walrus Program
"Olive" Unit (backstory only, not to be used in fighting)
Commander: Dara Auturion
5,000 Hyperborean Paladins
- Regular, well-trained infantry
- Armed with standard rifles
- Somewhat unprepared for Nelagan conditions, but adaptable
"Grape" Unit
Commander: Tiethi Isution
6,000 Hyperborean Paladins
- Regular, well-trained infantry
- Armed with standard rifles
- Somewhat unprepared for Nelagan conditions, but adaptable
- 2 points/soldier
"Apple" Unit
Commander: Aere Inestion
5,000 Hyperborean Paladins
- Regular, well-trained infantry
- Bound by oath to avoid killing when at all possible
- Armed with unconventional, non-lethal weapons, which will be further explained later
- Somewhat complex backstory, to be explained later
- 2.5 points/soldier
Snowfox Lot
Commander: Raiki Volanion
50 piloted flycycles
- Mercenary company from Bjorngard
- Of questionable political status; possibly under direct Maraguan control rather than that of Tephi and Hyperborea
- "Flycycles" are pedal-powered, very low altitude ultralight aircraft
- Useful as a means of quick transportation for infantryman pilot, but useless for aerial dogfighting, etc.
- Similar in concept to the Gossamer Albatross, but more wieldly.
- 10 points/flycycle+infantryman

Ardy: Noted and highly approved of.
Extreme: You could TRY asking Shireroth's Ministry of Military Affairs, but they're not very well organized, and knowing Prodigy the answer would probably involve giant laser robots, while your (considerable) talents lie elsewhere. I suggest you make something up out of thin air and start it wherever you want (with some backstory explaining how they got there). Certainly Amity or Yardistan would be okay.
You could also play some mercs sponsored by Babkha rather than Shireroth if that fits your tastes better, in which case you could discuss the whole matter with the appropriate Babkhan authorities.

Re: Anti-Nelagan side Orbats
I might lose internet connection for the next few days.
At the moment, this is what my forces would look like. I'll write up a backstory during the war.
20 Special Forces = 20 x 5 = 100
50 Paratroopers = 50 x 3 = 150
300 Infantry = 300 x 1 = 300
20 M-THEL = 20 x 30 = 600
5 S-400 = 5 x 30 = 150
20 HUMRAAMs = 20 x 30 = 600
10 C-RAM = 10 x 30 = 300
10 IFVs = 10 x 40 = 400
5 V-22 Ospreys = 5 x 60 = 300
10 AH-64D = 10 x 75 = 750
5 RAH-66 = 5 x 80 = 400
4 A-10 = 4 x 200 = 800***
1 AC-130 = 1 x 150 = 150***
1 Nimitz-class = 1 x 1000 = 1000
2 Virginia Class Subs = 2 x 1000 = 2000
2 SeaWolf class subs = 2 x 1200 = 2400
1 Ohio class sub (mod) = 1 x 1600 = 1600*
4 Type-45 (air defense)= 4 x 1000 = 4000**
4 F-22 = 4 x 1200 = 4800***
8 Eurofighters = 8 x 500 = 4000
I believe I got 200 points to play around with still.
* modified to not have ICBMS, but 154 Tomahawks instead.
** might need to modify slightly to allow 1 helicopter each (either multipurpose helicopter or a simple transport helicopter)
*** modified to allow carrier operations.
Note, that I haven't mentioned the force multipliers. I will do that when I get time/internet connection back. Also, the guns for the special forces, paratroopers etc...

Re: Anti-Nelagan side Orbats
Scott, if you're not using those things in actual fighting but only in the backstory they don't need to go in and take up space in your ORBAT you know.
Currently, I can see 11,500 of your orbat taken up by active units.

Re: Anti-Nelagan side Orbats
The force structure is for my own reference. And note that I'm ascribing pretty high point values to the infantry because I want them to be well trained - not necessarily specops, but with the kind of discipline and training you'd see in the US Marines or an outfit of that quality.Scott, if you're not using those things in actual fighting but only in the backstory they don't need to go in and take up space in your ORBAT you know. 6000*2, 5000*2.5, 50*10.
12000 + 12500 + 500 = 25000.
Where do you get 11500 from, Extreme?
12000 + 12500 + 500 = 25000.

Re: Anti-Nelagan side Orbats
From my backside.
LOL. Actually, Montague brought that number up. I was just curious if that was the case. I did, however, notice that almost 5,000 well trained soldiers are mentioned as non-used. Hence, my question to check if Scott was using only apple, grape and snowfox groups for fighting, or if there was a typo involved somewhere.
