The Spirit of the Anunia Convention
Since I've been elected as Chair, I'm meant to maintain the 'Spirit' of the Anunia Convention.
I'd say the spirit of the Anunia convention, when originally written, was to make a recwar system that was simple enough that someone with no recwar experience and limited military knowledge could still recwar; but that would provide optional extensions and intricacies for those who wanted a more in-depth recwar experience. The simplicity we have - I don't think we could get much simpler than when we started. The trick in future amendments (and perhaps in cleaning up some of what we already have) is to ensure that the further depth is provided in such a way that it is optional, that those who can't handle it can recwar without needing to follow it. If we can do that, I'll be very happy.
