Of expansion in its direct vicinity. There are councilors who might find this information relevant for their vote.

The discussions behind this claim and any possible future ones have been made in total public in the Discord MCS general channel, which you're free to participate in. Mondo said publicly that he's willing to discuss any shared spheres of influence with you and Ralgon.

However, this claim does not even border Calbion in the slightest, there's plenty of Green space in between.

Moreover, the reservation itself is a public notice of claim within 30 days, to Calbion and other parties. The claim isn't there yet, it's a reservation, and reservations can change depending on other matters.

As such, I do not think the Arkadian principle of prior notice has been violated.

I like to see nations contact others if they're going to block them in somewhat with a claim, but I don't think any of us particularly require it to happen if they would share a short border. And I think publicly mentioning it when there's a good 200 miles' worth of green between the claims is unnecessary overkill...

To reiterate what I said in Discord, I don't really have any firm plans in that area beyond reclaiming Riskai, a very small parcel of land with which I have a long association. Ric was keen to expand that a little to create Varmland, but again, I don't see this as being unreasonable give the small size and fact it doesn't adjoin anyone.

I'm also more than happy to talk to Calbion and HRE, IC or OOC, to equitably settle any longer-term intentions in that region. Jack, if you're worried I'm planning to suddenly mushroom out and grab all the green on that island...then there's no need.

The Mondofolks have gotten in contact. I mentioned it because of precedent.

Glad to hear, but there is no precedent for nations contacting those they don't intend to border directly. I think this conversation is what you've been thinking about

IC, the nearby territory held by Ralgon is a vast frontier region, and the central government of Ralgon has no military or cultural sway over that stretch of coastline. And, they've no historical association at all with it. Further, they've already decided well in advance of these events to let it remain mostly uncontested, to avoid conflicts of interest with Calbion. So I see no conflict here.

In short, I'd be happy to work with Mondo in the future concerning what happens along the coast of Riskai in the long term.

With the forbearance of the council, I would like to increase my reservation by 1270 pixels, so as to reclaim the historic Rossheim territory of Steeria (Steerswick)...for which I have wacky things planned. I trust Craitgod will approve as it had an international football squad...
