Re: OOB: Republic of Antica
Please fill out the form:
Anunia Convention - National Form
1. Does your nation have Existing National Defences? (III.A) If so, place a link to them below.
Existing National Defences are defensive structures for your civilians and/or troops. Such defensive structures cannot require manpower to damage orbatted units, otherwise said manpower must be included in the their orbat. eg. A wall, or a mine, is appropriate, but a SAM or a gun turret is not. They can include manpower in purely non-offensive terms (eg a Radar Station or a Train Network). If these structures are to affect orbatted units, they must also be within the reality constraints placed on the war as a whole, otherwise the entire offending thing [that is, the person/object/defensive structure that includes an element outside the reality constraints placed on the war as a whole] is considered not to exist for the purposes of orbatted units.
2. Does your nation have city descriptions, regional descriptions, terrain maps or other things detailing your land that you would like the enemy to know, and that can't be inferred from the MCS Physical Map? (III.A) If so, place a link to a page listing them below.
Either copy all your descriptions into one thread, or provide links to each of them. This can be in the same post as your Existing National Defence
3. Please name below every citizen of your nation who could possibly participate in the war. (III.D). Also note which region they will start in (if you don't use personal regions, mark this "Capital") (IV.M). Any citizens not mentioned here who join the war later may be refused entry by the enemy.
4. If your nation offers anything in the situation it loses, please list it below (II.C). Anything not listed here can only be ceded by your agreement after the war.
5. Other Reminders:
A. If any of your forces meet the following conditions, they qualify to count as more experienced. Note this in your orbat. (III.E,F)
i. Have fought and survived a previous Recwar which was not too recent as to have sapped morale.
ii. Had a backstory of reasonable quality written for them explaining their training/origin/loyalty, and why they are more experienced than a normal unit.
iii. Participated in regular training exercises in their nation.
B. If you wish to share some of your points with someone else in your nation, note that in your orbat (and preferably post your orbat together) (IV.B)
C. If you are using non-standard units (ie any not mentioned specifically by name in the Convention), either provide a link to them (if real world), or a description (if invented) of basic capabilities. If you intend to use your unit in a way that is not a standard feature, please note that as well. (IV.E,F)

Re: OOB: Republic of Antica
For the sake of realism things like this should be tapered off. In all reality the Ocian Federation and Antica have maintained good relations and now people see there’s a rec war they want to join in for the heck of it which is going to make it rather ridiculous for our side.

Re: OOB: Republic of Antica
For the sake of realism, Matt?
Antica has every right to fight in this war, being invited by one of the belligerent parties as per the rules.
Somehow I doubt you would have the same objections if they were fighting alongside Ocia.

Your right, and I won't when they turn up.
Re: OOB: Republic of Antica
Anunia Convention - National Form
1. Does your nation have Existing National Defences? (III.A) If so, place a link to them below.
- OOB-1 on New Brannum is a heavily fortified position and the home base of the Naval Infantry.
- There is an outpost in Antican Suryo in San Mateu, a lightly fortified defensive structure.
- Nafticon itself is a giant Naval base that just happens to also be the capitol.
2. Does your nation have city descriptions, regional descriptions, terrain maps or other things detailing your land that you would like the enemy to know, and that can't be inferred from the MCS Physical Map?
With the exception of the above bases, all features should be listed on the map.
3. Please name below every citizen of your nation who could possibly participate in the war. (III.D). Also note which region they will start in (if you don't use personal regions, mark this "Capital")
- Foghorn (1/2 at OOB-1, 1/2 in Nafticon)
-Chris (Nafticon)
4. If your nation offers anything in the situation it loses, please list it below (II.C).
Nope
5. Other Reminders: (I will underline all that apply for me)
A. If any of your forces meet the following conditions, they qualify to count as more experienced. Note this in your orbat. (III.E,F)
i. Have fought and survived a previous Recwar which was not too recent as to have sapped morale. Approximately 5-8 previous wars.
ii. Had a backstory of reasonable quality written for them explaining their training/origin/loyalty, and why they are more experienced than a normal unit. Yep, got one.
iii. Participated in regular training exercises in their nation. They do indeed.

Ocia is going to be overwhelmed - overconfidence is a problem for any commander, but this is realism.Your right, and I won't when they turn up.

Re: OOB: Republic of Antica
Well.. the war was for independence of Amokolia between Ocia and other parties... which is now pretty much in control of all those who oppose Ocia... so, yes late in that sense..
but Ocia hasn't given up yet, and thus you could participate in leading a strike against the mainland ocia if you really want. though, i am not quite sure how a carrier battle group is going to help since most of Ocia is inland and you'd need to travel through a river (large enough) to get to them.
