Re: Official war thread
Summary:Gyeneral Goltz left Tiferet Yisrael Synagogue with an armed guard that night. Benaciastadt looked so ugly with that vast wall tearing it in two- the jazzy nightlife and wealth of the Ashkenatzi sector bought back to mind images of the macronational DDR and West Berlin. Who knew how the residents of Benaciastadt had suffered with Herr Kovac’s closing the border- friends and family sliced in two like the quick flick of a shochet’s knife through a cow’s neck in the Kosher Abbatoir.
Word had just come from the Beth Din- the Orthodox Rabbinical council had managed to rule that defence of the Jewish motherland- even on the Sabbath- was a positive Mitzvah to be embraced and supported by all Ashkenatzi Citizens.
Goltz’s aide, Rebnikov, put down the red telephone with a psychotic glee. Himself a Hasid, he had been torn between observing the Sabbath and smiting the uppity Goyim to the North. Now it seemed he could do both and feel none the worse.
Goltz watched with binoculars from the bunker by Checkpoint Delta, near the Tram Depot- the commander of the Ashkenatzi strike force was having a chat with the Ocian border guard, who promptly went back to telephone his superiors. Before the Ocian could reach the receiver, the Ashkenatzi commander emptied a clip from his Sholem automatic into the base of the Ocian’s skull. The border post was dismantled and within seconds C and D companies of the 2nd Batallion, 1st Onfaler Teyl rushed the gate in a flurry of heavy machine gun fire afforded from some tactical positions their comrades had taken, hidden behind some closed blinds on the second floor of a Tellian newsagent’s near the checkpoint. The highly ironic battle cry of ‘Shabbat Shalom, Ocia!’ could be heard from behind the wall as captured Ocian propaganda speakers atop the wall near the checkpoint played the Ashkenatzi National Anthem, ‘Zog Nit Keynmol’, partially drowned out from the fifty helicopters of the first Pansershturem Fliik Teyl ‘Malekhamoves’ provided covering fire. The two companies were now in a foreign city, which necessitated caution. Snipers took positions along the dividing wall and defence perimeters were quickly set up to secure the checkpoint and access points up to the wall turrets, whilst mortars in secure locations in the Ashkenatzi sector awaited orders to bombard over the wall into tactical targets of the Ocian sector at the first second’s notice of a possible counterattack.
In Luino Airfield in the Trans-Elwynn Autonomous Region, an Elw commander with an unpronounceable surname turned toward his Jewish comrade as the red telephone rang. The signal was sent and the remaining fifteen helicopters set off over Benaciastadt for reconnaissance and to survey for signs of whether an Ocian counterattack had commenced. Their additional duties were to locate and destroy all power facilities for the Ocian sector of Benaciastadt to create a communications blackout for the Ocian troops. The Artillery Support Detachment in Grenetzshtot commenced a one hour creeping barrage over the north of Ocian Benaciastadt to destroy all road and rail links which the perfidious Ocians could use to advance their nefarious purposes of a counterattack.
Gyeneral Goltz saluted the Ashkenatzi flag flying over Checkpoint Delta.
Operation Bathsheba’s Fecundity was going perfectly to plan.
-C and D companies of 2nd Battalion, 1st Onfaler Teyl, secure Checkpoint Delta for advancing Ashkenatzi troops.
-Fifty helicopters from the first Pansershturem Fliik Teyl ‘Malekhamoves’ provide covering fire on a rocket assault on the defences of the fortified wall dividing Benaciastadt
- Fifteen helicopters from the aforementioned Fliik Teyl based in Luino, TEAR, embark on a reconnaissance mission of Northern Ocian Benaciastadt to watch for signs of a possible counterattack and to search and destroy for any targets to make a communications blackout for Benaciastadt North.
- Artillery support detachment in Grenetzshtot lays a one hour creeping barrage of Northern Benaciastadt to destroy any road or rail links which could be of use to the enemy.
May I make note that the
-Force composition of Kampfgruppe Goltz can be found here
-Smaller locations mentioned such as Grenetzshtot can be found on the concise Atlas of Ashkenatza.
May I additionally take a minute to thank Herr Woodrow for his support and call on all civilised nations of Micras to aid the Ashkenatzi Republic in securing stability on the Benacian Continent.
Am Yisrael Chai! Am Yashkenatza Chai!

Re: Official war thread
Sumary:Alex Allenby looked at his watch. Right on que the signal came. An Ashkenatzian flag flying from Benaciastadt. Now the + II corps could move out. He said good bye to fellow Green Thunder leader Szmhuel Astopov, whose troops would be leaving in the morning. They left the HQ and crossed the empty night time countryside over a short distance on foot. The 6AD's job was to cut the fence, take out the guard. Once completed, a quick radio call to the HQ would bring their trucks up and then the rest of + II corps would follow through all in trucks.
Five minutes later after several gaurds had been taken out using a combination of stabbing, shooting and stangling and one or two captured for interogation by Smzhuel Astopov, the whole of plus two corps was on its way. Each section commander began shouting the objectives for when they got there. Destination Vena. The vans drove on at speed onto the night. The aim was to capture all rail and road links to Benaciastadt, ready for troops to advance up there, thus revoving the thorn (literal and metaphorical) in the side of Ashkenatza
+II Corps to Vena to close off the gap.
Re: Official war thread
I assume you mean the 4th Ashkenazi Division, deployed in Shubitz, Ya'ir, and Bozparozbany, White Litovina?
It's not as if Kampfgruppe Megiddo, all the way up in Izaria, would go all the way down to Vena, surely?

Re: Official war thread
Summary:Kommander Astopov counted the clips he had stashed safely in his pouches for his machine pistol. "Enough...", he considered, but even this reminder of the ample ammunition and high quality of the equipment with which the Ashkenatza Natsional Armey was provided with could alleviate the cold sweat which he now felt. The columns of Ashkenatzim, Tellian and Amokolian refugees, displaced by the recent boarder closure, however, reinforced the morality of this conflict in his mind - the hordes of families, homeless and struggling because of one man's arrogance, made him and every soldier by his side steadfast in their assertation that the order to mobilise had been considered with the depth of the scriptures, and the clarity of the chief Rabbi. "War is War", Astopov thought to himself, "I can't explain this away - no amount of moral imperatives are going to hide the dead from my conscience when it ends". As the men, women, and vehicles of +I corps marched and trundled past his kommand Vehicle, Astopov paused, and considered the wars fought across Micras - as far back as the Jaris war, long before his time, however - and considered "thank god there are people like the Ashkenatzim in the world". Although the monstrous arrogance of this consideration soon dawned upon him, he retracted his misgivings, remembering that all races, creeds, genders and religions were represented in the forces converging upon Ocian-Amokolia and Ocia proper. Sweaty brows and gunshots, made by excited young soldiers to celebrate their righteous cause, heralded the adventure that lay ahead. This meditation of pessimism was broken by a hollering yell, directed towards the staff cars - "K-OMMANND-EEERRRR!" The stench of Babkhan cigarettes, secured into a grizzled mouth by a rather uninspiring row of gold teeth spat a report at him - this was his aide, Sabato Lazarus, a representative of Ashkenatza's miniscule Sephardim community. "Division 5 is now deployed along the Zaporogian boarder; the 19th and 14th Landvekherner Teyl have been successfully deployed - the remaining troops and support units have almost reached their locations." With a curt nod, Astopov dismissed Lazarus, who ran off to snatch a quick smoke amongst the trees. Major Bakshi-Doron turned towards the assembled company inside the staff car "So Gentlemen - the game commences...".
- +I corps, consisting of the 5th and 6th Ashkenatzi divisions, takes up positions along the Ocian boarder in the Zaparogian and Izarian provinces. Division 5 covers the Zaparogian boarder, whilst Division 6 covers the Izarian boarder up to Snnewald.
- +I corps commences entrenching operations, removing trees and foliage for a few metres in front of the aforementioned trenches to provide a "Kill zone". LSWs, mortars, GPMGs, RPGs are provided with their own nests in strategic locations to provide maximum coverage.
- +I corps HQ secures communications to airbases in KCT, Zaparogia and Volhyria.
- 3 BM 27 Uragan self-propelled multiple-launch missile launchers from each Teyl of Divisions 5 and 6 of +I corps supplement forces currently in the locale of checkpoints Bravo, Alpha and the two checkpoints in Izaria.
- All Obkuwagon patrol cars from 15th Landvekherner Teyl, 5th Division, +I corps
17th Landvekhernet Teyl, 5th Division, +I corps begin a patrol sweep along the Ocian frontier to reconnoitre.

Re: Official war thread
Sumary:The late morning sunshine glinted off the fresh rain fall as the sun burst through the cloud. Jacob sqiunted through his binnoculers. The Amokolian town of Vena appeared deserted. He knew it wasnt. Carefully he slipped down the slight rise from where he had been observing and returned to the temporary base camp that was about a mile out of town.
Alex was sending an apology to Moltz and Pachad as his orders had caused hundreds of troops to converge on Vena from as far away as Izaria. He was determined not to let his decision be in vain. He straightened as Jacob entered the tent, a lit ciggarete dangling from his mouth. He saluted.
"Vena is unaware of our presence sir!" He continued rattling off details and distances while the Generals assistnt wrote them all down.
"Thankyou Jacob. You are now relieved of your duty and can now take some well earned rest." With another salute Jacob left the command tent. "Amersk." said Alex to his female assistant. "Summon the section Kommanders."
By late afternoon the plan of Vena had been completed in true military fashion out sticks and leaves. The plan was for 6AD and one half of 5AD to leave imediatley after refuleing for the west side of Vena. 6AD under Sgnt Yaputsk and 5AD under Korporal Klintski would wait there. At precisly 8pm BST, 6AD would leave heading off to capture ground west of Vena. The two sections of 5AD would then work through Vena from seperate sides. The civilian engineers drafted in as an attachment to 5AD would then re-open the destroyed rail link and with the help of 5AD construct anti vehicle ditches and mounds about a mile to the north of the town. These together with 5AD stationed in buildings on the north side of town and severed road and rail would provide tempoary defences while the rest of the region to the south was brought under Ashkentzi control. Orders given the troops moved out, destroying the map as they went.
One hour later a fire was ready to be lit. Troops stood guard, lazed about with cigarets or slept peacfully in bashers. Almost everything was packed and ready to. Just then there was a blare from the radio.
"Supply convoy 6 arrival at checkpoint alpha charlie."
"Recieved" Moments later the silenced engine of the troop transport started up and loaded with a couple of troops each they headed off for checkpoint alpha charlie.
Returning aproximatly half an hour later with an attahcment of engineers. Half of the engineers loaded up with the two detachments of 6AD. One quarter loaded with 5AD under Korporal Klintski, and the other quarter remained at camp. The vans headed off.
Alex watched, a worried expression on his brow. "If we fail" he thought "This could lengthen the war by some considerable time"
5 and 6AD arrive outside Vena
5 and 6AD refueled and reinforced with a civilian engineer attachment
6AD moves out for west Vena with one section of 5AD.
Camp is packed up, all that remains is to destroy the rubbish by means of a fire.

Re: Official war thread
I think I need to make this quite clear: as per my ruling of August 29th, there are no Ocian forces anywhere in Amokolia.
http://micras.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=49304#p49304
The only Ocian forces anywhere near this area are Monty's, whose last move was to land at La Terre.
If the Ashkenatzan party keep this up, they're going to be looking at war crimes for destroying civilian infrastructure

Re: Official war thread
SumaryGeneral Allenby was furious. Inteligence had failed him and he had to publicly apologise to the people of Vena for causing pannic, and chaos. No Ocian forces were anywhere near where he was. Now the 5th and 6th AD had to spend valuble time and effort restoring civilian infastructure imstead of heading to where the Ocian forces were landing. Morale was low, and now, the war may be over even before they got to fight. Still they were closer than the Noshi and also closer than Komander Astopov. "Meh" he mused silently, "The Ocians never maintained any of the roads or railway lines so they would have to be rebuilt anyway." It would now be at least 2 days before they could move out of Vena and head for La Terre where they now knew Ocian forces were landing. "Next time" he continued in his mind as he worked at a shovel,"I'll get the bloody inteligence myself!"
General Allenby apologises to the people of Vena (no one was killed during its capture).
5th and 6th begin to rebuild destroyed and badly maintained road and rail links out of Vena.

Re: Official war thread
(Initially)
(But since then)Ashkenatzisher Shlakhter Fliikraft Aerodrome, Podil’skiyj, White Litovina
Somewhere in a non-descript office, on a non-descript desk there rang a non-descript phone which was answered by a non-descript man.
“Fliik-Teyl Dispersal.â€
“Dispersal. This is GHQ. Who is this speaking please?â€
“Leutenant Saul Motke, 2nd Fliik-Teyl.â€
“Ah, just the man. Congratulations Leutenant, your numbers have come up.â€
“You mean I’ve won the lottery?â€
“In a manner of speaking – which is to say no – your kite has been chosen to provide the strike element for the CAP. Head over to the hanger now. Briefing to be conducted as your strapped in.â€
90 Minutes Later, Over Benaciastadt
"Congratulations Leutenant, yours is the first Dipou of the Ashkenatzisher Shlakhter Fliikraft to enter enemy air space on active operations. How does that make you feel?"
"Thank you Control. It makes me feel like a target."
"Ha ha. That's the spirit. Remember you are cleared to engage any enemy air defence infrastructure as and when it is identified."
"Well, yeah... but what if they choose to engage me?"
"Don't worry, your comrades have your back."
Leutenant Motke's Dipou A1 Fighter Jet climbed to 35,000 feet and levelled out. Checkpoint was approaching, the next waypoint in a flight plan that would see him essentially loitering over the brewing urban battlefield of Benaciastadt. Equipped with a laser-designating pod attached to his under-slung belly-hardpoint, always an unfortunate turn of phrase he thought, and a 2,000lb bomb and AGM-88 High-speed Anti-Radiation Missile a piece on each wing tip, the Leutenant was under no illusions that his mission was to pick a fight, or indeed, to be picked out in turn for the same.
Which was where the three additional Dipou A1s drawn from the 4th Fliik-Teyl, flying loose escort, above and behind at 42,000 feet came in so very handy. Additionally the Pantakrator AWAC assigned to the 2nd Fliik-Teyl had now taken up station south west of Benaciastadt in order to provide radar coverage and monitor all hostile radio traffic.
"GHQ confirms closure of national air space to all unauthorised aviation. Escorts you are cleared to engage any contact that pops up in range to be a threat."
So now the waiting game began.
The Yabotinsky Fortress, Kolmenitzkiy, Republic of Ashkenatza
Earlier in the day at 1800 Feldmarshall Pachad Emet ben Mavet received a situation briefing in the conference room of the Hanokem Sholom Tower from Palkovnik Pasha Alekseyev, updating him on the progress of the cross-border advance.
“Are you certain Pasha?â€
“It is confirmed Herr Feldmarshall, there has been precisely no contact with enemy forces since the crossing of the frontier at Z-Hour.â€
“None?†Pachad nonchalantly fiddled with his eye patch as he spoke.
“Well, I believe an officer in the 1st Onfaler Teyl managed to shoot a customs clerk during the takeover of one of the border check points in Benaciastadt, but otherwise no, nothing.†Pasha coughed as though somewhat embarrassed, as indeed he might be, Pachad was fidgeting noticeably with the crotch of his trousers – the Feldmarshall had spent what had been billed in his official diary as a cultural weekend in Mazeltov as part of a scheduled bit of R&R. His itinerary remained unreported – several journalists of the Litkovsker Tagblatt who were known to be active in the area found themselves subject to OYVEY Preventative Detention Orders. Whatever it was he had been up to Pachad was starting to feel the effects of it.
“Curious.†Pachad was oblivious to the discomfiture of his aide. “I wonder if perhaps they have withdrawn into the interior of the country so as to avoid a pitched battle too early on. Perhaps they are falling back to prepared positions?â€
“There has been nothing to indicate that so far Herr Feldmarshall. There has been no sign of any withdrawal any more than there has been any sign of any deployment.â€
“Am I to conclude then that they are not there then?â€
“That would seem the most likely explanation?â€
“Well then. No point pissing around then is there. Pasha? I want you to draft new orders for the Front Commanders. We must be mindful of the Nohsi’s master plan but I want it verified that the allied forces have the run of Amokolia.â€
“Certainly, Herr Feldmarshall. Will that be all?â€
“Yes. No wait – could you summon my physician please. This damned itching… it isn’t natural…â€
Summary:
1. 2nd Fliik-Teyl Pantakrator AWAC deployed cover to Benaciastadt;
2. Order issued closing Ashkenatzim air space to all foreign aviation & grounding domestic commercial and non-essential flights;
3. Element from 2nd Fliik-Teyl to deploy in Strike/Combat Air Patrol role over Benaciastadt;

Sumary:Vladamirsk looked out across the wndswept air feild. The rain was blowing almost horrizontal across it. He stood in the dooray of the aircraft hanger, smoking, as almost everyone did. His anti shipping plane was a hive of activity as the ground crew prepared it to take off. His briefing was simple. Fly north from here (Klymenburg), over Shireoth to avoid enemy anti air and then patrol the coast. Simple and sweet. Just one problem. There was a storm brewing. A mighty big one at that. The wind howled and in the distance there was a flash of lightening. No taking off in this. He stamped out his cigarete and returned to the crew room. It was going to be a long wait and he hadnt seen his wife in over 3 days...
Meanwhile in Mitnik the plane had just taken off when the cross wind buffeted it from the east. The plane was thrown off course, but the pilot managed to save it from a dive.
"Who is that man?" asked the waiting sgnt Pepper.
"That" said another one of the men watching "is my wife, and the best pilot in the airforce!"
Anti shipping fighter from Mitnik heading north to patrol the coast.
Anti shipping fighter from Klymenburg, stuck due to storms
Re: Official war thread
Summary:'Ikh... spreche nur ayn... bischele iddish' stated the bagel seller on the street corner in the Amokolian Sector of Benaciastadt, arms gesticulating wildly to animate the fact. Hordes of curious Ashkenatzim were pouring through the gate to see what lay beyond the wall which had for so long been a mystery to them. Ocian Benaciastadt was gloomy, numerous funds having been diverted by the Goverment to build ridiculous megalomaniac monuments for the Ocian nomenklatura back in Keltia before the Amokolians had rebelled, and it showed.
This particular Ocian spiv had capitalised on the recent influx and had quickly baked some poor bagels to sell to Ashkenatzim in an attempt to show his pro-Jewish credentials. He was even wearing a skullcap to boot, though whether it was genuine yarmulke or simply a spray-painted doily was a different matter entirely.
Goltz took a bite of one of the bagels and sighed in dismay. No lox, no salmon- all in all a cheap excuse. He hurredly threw a shekel at the vendor, who protested. 'Shekels? Nu? Stop kvetching and get used to them!', Goltz had sighed.
The helicopters still droned ahead the suburbs of Northern Benaciastadt and the villages on the road to Vena. Nothing was to be seen. A guttersnipe with a large Ocian flag and 'intent to hang it' had been apprehended, but generally the civilian population had been welcoming, even giving challah bread and salt in a traditional Ashkenatzi Jewish sign of welcome to the troops, who bore the Antican, Babkhan, Ashkenatzi, and Amokolian flags in an attempt to show the true plurality of the message of liberation.
Dismayed at his bagel, Goltz opened the refrigerator in the temporary operations base. Everything had melted or gone off.
The electricity blackout had stalled nothing but his own lunch. The power lines would have to be switched back on.
By the early hours of the morning, the troops of the 2nd Battalion, 1st Onfaler Teyl 'Nokem Schwartzbard' had boarded recently commandeered Amokolian trains destined for Vena, defended by advanced guard squadrons from C and D companies along the tracks.
Over in the Trans-Elwynn and White Litovina, bearded Hasidim looked on as Jewish soldiers uncharacteristically joyful for the traditional mourning and repentance of the month of Elul climbed into their neglected tanks and drove flat over the border fence. One tank commander, Leytenant Steinschneider, was ordered not to reimburse the frontier officials for the chicken wire.
Goltz hummed the Battle Hymn of the Ashkenatzi Republic as his armoured car sped northwards.
- 2nd Battalion, 1st Onfaler Teyl 'Nokem Schwartzbard' leaves Benaciastadt for Vena by train, lines
having been secured by advance patrol parties.
- Ashkenatzi Military Police take over jurisdiction of Amokolian Benaciastadt in conjunction with any present Amokolian forces
- Communications and power blackout of Benaciastadt North ended- normal citizen life resumes
- Border posts to Ocian Benaciastadt dismantled
- 1st Pansershturem Teyl 'Toyts-Kop', deployed in Vechjainion, Checkpoint Echo, Nixiphiloren, Bozparozbany, and Shubitz respectively
cross the border and converge in a North-Westerly direction to rendezvous with forces destined for Vena.

Sumary:Vena was a dump. There was little in the town. Alex wandered down the high street. The few shops that were not borded up didnt sell anything worth buying. He wandered into one, and imiediatly left it. The shop sold entirely pork. In fact he looked around, all the shops seemed to be selling was pork...
"Its all we have left." said a man who stood by a statue of one of the old kings of Amokolia. "The Ocians took or burnt everything else. Good job we're not Jewish, or we'd starve!"
"Great. The Tellian section would love it... but everyone else. That damed supply train had better arrive in time for us to stock up tommorow morning."
Alex wandered moodily back to base. There was little food left and the next supply convoy was a fair way away. He was hungry.
"Sir" said a flustered looking Jacob.
"Yes?" he replied as he sat down heavily in his chair and took in the grimey suroundings of his new dark and dingy office.
"Pachad is pleased with our work. He is sending the rest of the troops north to join us by train and aurmourd car." The men and women of Vena had helped repair the damage done to the roads and railway lines, and so a planned depature for tommorow morning had been set up. "Thankgod" he thought "Another 12 hours in this dump is enough." Jacob was still stood in the doorway.
"And?" barked Alex.
"Orders have come from Pachad..." he said sheepishly
"Go on."
"We are to wait here for them." "great" thought Alex "They had better hurry up"
"And the proceed to East Mishilan Muse" Finished Jacob nervously.
General Allenby took a moment to take this in. They would have to stay here for a few more days, with pork the only left to eat, and nothing else in this erily airy town. They wouldnt get to fight any troops, in a war that was so far, so unlike a war it was untrue. Not a single shot had been fired, and only one border guard had been taken down. Military inteligence had failed them. Allenby took one moment longer to consider this, then blew his top...
Repairs to infastructure in Vena complete
All land secured to east and west. Frontier to the north.
Only pork available to the almost all Jewish soildiers

Summary:As his crews board their ships, Admiral Kufukhaf Iskander Khan Pasha-Pahlavi stands watching with the head of the new Ashkenatzim custom house in Toledano. Much of the Babkhan Imperial Navy, formerly based in Susa, still had not left when the region recently passed to Ashkenatza. Prepared to leave, the Admiral shakes the hand of the customs official and the two wish each other well as the Admiral makes his way up the gang plank to HMS Vanguard.
As the Admiral arrives on the bridge, he asks the men in the bridge if everything is ready. "Yes Admiral" is their reply, "where are we going?" "I'm not quite sure yet," replied the Admiral, "but if all of the arctic and tropical gear is packed, as well as the special packages I ordered, we should be fine wherever we go." "What's in those packages?" the pilot asked, to which the Admiral replied "until we are well under way, that'll be my secret."
As Task Force Vanguard leaves port and the pilots are shuttled back to shore, Kufu informs the men present on Vanguard's bridge "methamphetamine." The men look at the Admiral with a look of disbelief, hoping the Admiral is not serious, but after a few minutes without the Admiral indicating he was joking, the chief navigator changes the subject: "where are we going?" The Admiral quietly pulls out a map and draws on it with a blue marker, then comments "follow the blue line."
Task Force Vanguard en route to Newport (should arrive there in roughly 24 hours)

Re: Official war thread
Summary:The Duke watched his wife finishing his lunch bag with a sheepish grin on his face. He had asked her time and time again to not treat him like a baby in front of his staff and soldiers, but she dismissed his objections with a 'hrmpf'. You couldn't argue with her 'hrmpf's. They meant that you either did as she wanted or suffered the consequences. He had thought about that for a while as he was going off to fight the Ocian scum, and decided not to make a fuss. For some reason, she looked far more terrifying when angry than all Ocians put together.
The Duke took his lunch bag and the deployment map. He kissed his wife on her chin and assured her that he would be back soon. She replied with a hoarse 'you'd better, or else'. He stepped out into the crisp morning air and hurried over to the waiting chopper with his back hunched.
'Get me to the IVF HQ, ASAP', the Duke yelled to make himself heard over the engine sound. The chopper lurched and ascended quickly into the air. The Duke shot one final glance at his home and waived to his wife on the porch.
---
'This is the deployment plan for the IVF', the Duke explained to his senior staff gathered in the barracks of the Imperial Volunteer Forces. He was rather proud of the map, different troops were marked with the appropriate symbols, and even troop movements were indicated with arrows in various colors and sizes.
'I will lead Kampfgruppe Becks, Carling and Carlsberg northwest towards Petersburg', the Duke continued. 'KG Stella, the air defence units as well as the Taifuns are to stay here to provide defence for Shirekeep. We can use the railway system, even though the Elwynnese haven't exactly maintained it as they perhaps should.'
- Kampfgruppe Becks, Carling and Carlsberg depart for Petersburg using the railway system
- Kampfgruppe Stella deploys in strategic locations in and around Shirekeep
- I./JG 1 "Kadavergehorsam" (Air Defence) deploys in strategiv locations around Shirekeep city to provide air coverage
- 9 Taifuns are deployed to airstrips in and around Shirekeep with at least three airborne at any given time
