Ammending Regulations - Feb 25 2011
Adding:
I feel that if a symbol is significant to a micronation, then it shouldn't be bound by its macronational name. This sort of slights the culture and history of a micronation and there is absolutely no logical need to bind micronational heraldry to macronational standards. What goes on on Earth in regards to history and names has little to no significance to what Micran nations do unless said Micran nations wish to give credence to Earth yadda yadda yadda.
If a heraldic device has particular significance to a micronation's culture and history but it is known under a different name in macronational heraldry, then its micronational name shall take precedence.
- If this is used to circumvent §3 by means of using the symbol under another name so that it may be used in a coat of arms, then as per §2 the arms will not be accepted.

Re: Ammending Regulations - Feb 25 2011
So, under this, would I now be allowed to call the rose on Craitland's arms a "Pelle rose"? Just I remember when the College of Arms designed our new one, I discussed the name of the rose but it had to be called a "Tudor rose", even though the colours I asked for were the other way round
