Today marks a day of happines, and a day to rejoice, as we have won the Cricum-Reynor war. With swift action, we have punished those who have wronged us and the innocent civilians in the United Christian States, and have shown that our nations are dedicated to upholding the rights of smaller nations. This war, in my opinion, marks the beginning of a new era for micras. With the GC leaving micras, and Shireroth declining, the age of the Novasolum, Cibola, and NAM nations, with their peaceful and mature attitude to micronationalism, this war shows a beginning for Matbaa's future in Micras.
It shows that we are growing. That we now have some power in the world and a proper ability to defend and stand up for ourselves and our allies. The UCS has three citizens, but does this matter? An innocent nation was wronged and retribution has taken place on the perpetrators. Everyone has a right to feel proud. Citizens can now walk the streets without the fear that they will be vaporised by bombs, or gunned down in the streets of a Matbaic frontier town.
This is a celebration of peace in our time, but not just victory over Woodstania and her allies, but a celebration of the new dawn which has rised on Micras.
Riponia, Stormark, Alexandria, Lovely, the UCS, Kahbah, Monovia, Gotzborg, Nova England, New Brittania, and the CIS have shown support for our cause and the existence of the UCS and the Matbaic nations.
Here's to those who perished in this combat *raises glass*
May it never happen again.
