MCS Change Request Form (Expansions/Modifications)
Use this form to make changes to your existing claim, such as new cities or name changes.
Name & Title: André Vales, First Consul of the International Mandate for the Settlements in Apollonia
E-Mail/Contact: pm
Nation: International Mandate for the Settlements in Apollonia
Request:
Notes: The collapse of Krasnocoria has brought Leylstadt in a difficult situation: as it depended upon trade between the two great powers of Apollonia, the demise of one of them led to the destruction of the city state. Located in the barbarian green, and without any income, many of the Duchy were forced to flee westwards.
André Vales, an adventurer who had helped establish Leylstadt through his expeditions, ignored the calls to join his brothers and sisters in subservience. With a smaller, but influential group between 30 000 and 40 000 Leylstadters, he moved eastwards. Eventually, he reached the city of Tiegang: despite the chaos on the continent, it still stood proud against the barbarous Green. Tiegang is ready to serve the world as a new trade hub, for both Raspur and USSO. A place where you're free to gamble, a city with splendour but also a lot of squalor.
In other words: This was not originally planned, but I want to use my pixels for Leylstadt to reform it into the International Mandate for the Settlements in Apollonia. It sees itself as the successor of Leylstadt.
To offer some proof of development: the city map: https://micras.org/wiki/images/7/7a/Tiegang_map.png

Thanks for the heads up. Really cool to use someone's work without consultation.

Not sure what you're on about? Didn't see any intention of yours to claim the region?

There is still something like ownership of ideas. Or does that only count for you?

If you feel you've got a stake in the project, it'd only make sense if you joined in and made your mark as proof of said ownership.

Or maybe Jonas could just have asked me if he could use my creations.Cosmic Fury wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 6:26 pmIf you feel you've got a stake in the project, it'd only make sense if you joined in and made your mark as proof of said ownership.

Re: [IAM] Leyl modification
Which creations would those be, except for some landmarks (which I gladly rename)? I refer to the Antican, Tyrenian, Jing and Krasnocorian cultures and rework it. It's called 'history' for a reason.

you use my flag, my names etc. I don't mind what you do, just consult me, don't just take my stuff for your own project.

Re: [IAM] Leyl modification
You're right on that one. My apologies, as the design of the flag is something Jingdao often uses (and I use when making flags) I thought it was one of mine. I will gladly change it (and was planning to do so: Edgard can confirm this as I recently asked him if he had any idea).
Considering the names: as said, I used a few names to refer to landmarks. Hardly worth shouting 'stealing your ownership' (one would almost think I stole the map from you ), but I don't mind removing any evidence that your civilization ever existed. I can certainly find other Jing and Krasnocorian names.

I just would appreciate it if you informed me, is that too much to ask? One look at the history of that page should tell you enough. Also don't misquote me, it's bad taste.Jonas Windsor wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 9:08 pmYou're right on that one. What would tell enough? That you once had a nation there? I gave your presence some recognition in the nation's history books, instead of ignoring its existence.
I wouldn't know were I misquote you.Also don't misquote me, it's bad taste.
