Re: Akhidia Claim 2
Why has this been posted without any discussion with Ric, Orion, and most importantly of all, me?
Please reconsider this claim.
Thanks.

Re: Akhidia Claim 2
This is the kinda claim where I'd think it best to talk to the neighbouring nation as it would stop Jääland from a contiguous future expansion.
Also, you've already had an unexplained expansion attempt denied for a lack of development. This would certainly go the same way...

Re: Akhidia Claim 2
Lac Glacei objects to this claim. The peninsular land above has been designated as within the territorial sphere of influence of Jääland.
Re: Akhidia Claim 2
Yeah this claim would violate quite a few of the charter's rules for claims. The council considers the following criteria when voting;
Cultural development
No cultural work has gone into this claim. There is no IC reason as to why Akhidia would want to claim here, nor is there any work surrounding the people of this peninsula or why they would seek to join Akhidia.
Internal government
There is no good IC or OOC political reason for Akhidia to expand into this area that has been made, see point above.
International collaboration
Given this claim would border Jaaland, we would expect at least a check with them to make sure that this claim does not infringe on any of their future plans in this area. This has evidently not been done.
History
See the first point. No historical narrative has been put forward for this claim at all.
Use of current claims
Whilst Akhidia has got some good activity going and has worked on a number of interesting ideas and storylines, there's little particular geographic or geopolitical relevance of their current claims to their work (ie all current activity could theoretically be done on a small claim) [although it should be noted this is your strongest case for expansion, but...]
Geographic realism
Given there's plenty of green surrounding Akhidia, you're not a colonial empire, and the land you're claiming is on land that would be almost impossible to run a clean and unaffected transportation link to, I would not deem it geographically realistic.
If Akhidia wishes to expand, which I do think you have the activity to justify, I would recommend doing so on Cibola in adjacent green areas and subsequently utilising that land, rather than just randomly claiming land on the other side of the world.

Re: Akhidia Claim 2
I think it's clear that this claim has no external support and, given that it has been submitted at the same time as another, now-twice-denied expansion, I'm also more than willing to employ §G1b of the Charter and deny this based on claiming too frequently...
