Re: Federation of Kanto
That's ... a really good spot for land shaped like the pokemon land. Good job

Re: Federation of Kanto
1. Copyright?
2. If you're trying to become a part of Shireroth, why claim as an independent nation now? Surely you could wait until you do become part of Shireroth, then submit an expansion. If you want to claim as Kanto, join with the vision of staying as Kanto, rather than appearing as just being a way for Shireroth to gain more land. Also, this doesn't tie-in with 4d, as that only mentions one-man nations joining if they'll gain citizens, not if they're going to get annexed straight away...

Re: Federation of Kanto
1. Meh.
2. Zir Niftiness the Kaiser has stated in negotiations that I would retain most autonomy (including map color); therefore, making Kanto an expansion of Shireroth would be out of the question. Also this agreement would allow for me to gain more citizens; therefore, it falls under Rule 4d.

Re: Federation of Kanto
So basically, the ties you said you were going to have with Shireroth aren't really going to exist, or are they going to be like Dura's relationship with Shireroth (and therefore have both the Kantonese and Shirerithian colours on Kanto's land)? Just need some clarification of what's going to happen here...

Re: Federation of Kanto
I imagine it's going like this: this is how previous issues like this happened:
It's going to be tied into shireroth as much as anything else but, the shirerothians think we would ban any expansion or annexation by shireroth outright because they're big, therefore they want it marked kanto colour so that it's not classed as a shirerothian expansion in our books, etc etc etc
think is, I don't really see the problem of shirerothian expansions anymore, as long as they're not excessive...

Original PM from Zir Niftiness the Kaiser wrote:You could see this pm as an offence (I probably would...), but I hope that you will not be too angry.
I would like to do a proposal: Kanto is a small country with potential (one man can make the difference, is one of my motto's). But it's small, like I just said. Maybe it has interest in becoming a protectorate / territory of Shireroth. Does this mean that you lose much? No, except if you desperately want to lose every autonomy.
Before you start shouting to me, I would like to tell you that our duchies (an integrated part like a province) have much autonomy (I'm sure that you will see that when you look around). That are the Duchies, imagine what freedom you have as a Territory (like Hurmu)!
You have the advance of using this forum (reliable, free and you can ask a different lay-out for your subforum) and having much political freedom (depends of what we agreed in a treaty). And no, the Federation can stay a federation. A republic can stay a republic.
Once again, look to Hurmu which even has retained its own colour on the MCS-map.
Consider it, and no pressure at all.
(I'm speaking to you as a citizen, not as a Kaiser. So please, don't think this is a Shirerithian policy)
Thank for listening!

Re: Federation of Kanto
Considering this is a one-man nation, might it not be better to start smaller? Say with the mainland Kanto region?
I will offer that the geography is very similar to the game, and even the real Kanto in Japan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pokémon_regions

Re: Federation of Kanto
Can't say I'd ever realised that Hurmu was part of Shireroth, probably due to it having its own colour. Well, at least that's cleared it up from my point of view. Thanks...

Re: Federation of Kanto
It's been jointly protected by Stormark and Babkha for a long while, only recently it signed a Treaty with Shireroth to become an affiliated territory or somesuch.Craitman wrote:Can't say I'd ever realised that Hurmu was part of Shireroth, probably due to it having its own colour. Re: Federation of Kanto
I assumed that Kanto already had land on the map (in that case it could retain it) and it the case it hadn't, it could claim some in name of Shireroth or itself. Never meant to cheat and expand Shireroth by using this or any other nation.
I didn't even know about this claim till... err... now.
I also imagined Kanto somewhat smaller...
(I'm Leto III, btw)
