Re: Holzborg [Modification]
I'd say reading comprehension isn't really your forte. Once again I never mentioned successionism (which I think is a ridiculous idea) and yet we now have two people saying that I'm a secessionist. This I'm sure is where all of the 'reliable' information on the infamous Dr. Kovacs comes from. I don't get where professor eihorn gets secessionism from me saying that I have been talking with Ocias citizens in real time instead of over the forums lately...and in case you haven't heard, there are more sectors to micronationalism than just this English speaking one.Einhorn wrote:I am assuming it was opposite day in the UK and we, as Americans, were just oblivious to that fact.SaiKar wrote:I believe this is a definition of "cool" I am not familiar with.Artz wrote:aww, lay off.. kovacs cool.. let him be.
Indeed sire, indeed.Maximos wrote:So, if Ocia's becoming seccessionist, why do they need land on the MCS?

Of course I've heard, I just don't think they're relevant to Ocia's presence on the MCS and therefore interaction as part of the Micran Sector. Whether or not you have 'real time citizens' is completely immaterial; as you well know, the MCS assesses the activity and development of its member nations by their online activity and therefore from online citizens.I have been talking with Ocias citizens in real time instead of over the forums lately...and in case you haven't heard, there are more sectors to micronationalism than just this English speaking one.
If Ocia has no forum activity of any consequence and the only assurances we have of any activity are your rather dubious claims, then Ocia deserves removal or a reduction. End of.

Re: Holzborg [Modification]
Sorry your still not getting it. I've been talking with Ocia's citizens in real time over msn about its future, I really can't make it more clearer for you people- we don't have 'real life citizens' and we are not seccessionist, I have absolutely no idea where you are getting these statements from. Regardless we will decide whether or not the MCS is still relevant for Ocia and for the moment being as Dr. Spangle already asserted we currently do have enough activity to maintain our current size and we still are interacting with the Micras sector, there are no rules about being apart of multiple sectors.Maximos wrote:Of course I've heard, I just don't think they're relevant to Ocia's presence on the MCS and therefore interaction as part of the Micran Sector. Matt, you're still not getting it. It doesn't matter if you use MSN as a medium to communicate with the doubtless thousands of citizens you have; the agreed medium of contact between citizens and their governments in simulationist micronationalism is the online forum, simply becase it's much more transparent and others can actually see the level of citizen input.
The problem with MSN is that we have only your dubious word that you contact your citizens at all (or indeed if there are any left to be contacted) simply because it's not a transparent means of communication.
If your citizens are so ready to talk over MSN, why can't they visit your nice new forum, Matt?
What's wrong with a forum?

Look who it is. Herp Derp.
I think the real reason is that Matt realises that he's disgraced and embarrassed himself so much in Micran simulationalism that he wants to run away, yet has to invent a facile little yarn to cover up this obvious fact.

Re: Holzborg [Modification]
Sad part is, if he'd get over the strange facade he's built around himself, he could actually be a kind of okay guy. But I'm not sure he can.
Re: Holzborg [Modification]
I for one just don't thiink Ocia deserves that much land with its abysmal activity (and the few posts there are are generally of no consequence) and that it's a bit of an insult to the rest of us who work to keep our lands and to those in future who could make better use of Keltia, that Ocia is still there.

Nothing wrong with having contact with citizens outside of the internet as far as I'm concerned, regardless of the actual numbers involved.
Anyway, how about we get back to what this thread was originally about? Erm, what was it about?
*Looks back through*
Oh that. Yeah, Holzborg should probably be reduced/removed soon...

As it's Christmas your wish might just come true.
Re: Holzborg [Modification]
That's very worrying, then. If that's the case, what's to stop me claiming most of Keltia for some new micronation and stating I have about 100 citizens who I talk to in person? You can't prove it, hence why the accepted medium of communication is the internet forum, which also opens up nations' activity to scrutiny and examination.Nothing wrong with having contact with citizens outside of the internet as far as I'm concerned
If Ocia's citizens are so dedicated, what's to stop them using Ocia's new forum rather than MSN?

Re: Holzborg [Modification]
Yes because newcomers are just lining up to occupy the vast quantities of unclaimed land on kelta. I think your claims regarding Ocia's land allocation amount to nothing less than trolling given the amount activity many other nations on Micras maintain in relation to their posts per month. Alexandria for one has "abysmal" activity levels for a nation of that great size, but I don’t see the MCS enforcing a forced reduction on them. In addition you say that our posts made are "generally of no consequence" which is a laughable statement to make from a nation that has countless posts on their forum about non-micronational subjects and other posts which are "generally of no consequence."Maximos wrote:I for one just don't thiink Ocia deserves that much land with its abysmal activity (and the few posts there are are generally of no consequence) and that it's a bit of an insult to the rest of us who work to keep our lands and to those in future who could make better use of Keltia, that Ocia is still there.

Furthermore given Ocia's cultural contributions to Micras and its previous high standings I'd certainly say that our land claims have been modest and our that current activity levels, as spangle said, certainly are enough to maintain our present amount of land. I think Maximos is lobbying for Ocia's removal in the hopes that we can be gone before Micras witnesses our full resurgence.
As a Hanukkah gift won’t ashkenatza just find someone else to troll?
