Re: Victorian removal
I should note that according to the SCUE treaty, all currency left in Victorian bank accounts is removed from circulation, NOT transferred to another nation. This is a deliberately designed part to keep the amount of currency in circulation roughly balanced to the number of participating citizens. I know this isn't the right place for that note, but I thought I'd put it in here since it was included in the notes to the claim.

Re: Victorian removal
No worries, completely understandable. As you know I'm not SCUE-involved, so I was just passing-on the message

Question:
If Victoria wants to cede the Valencian territories to Alexandria, shouldn't that be a claim that Alexandria makes (not Victoria), possibly in conjunction with Victoria?

Re: Victorian removal
"Land gifts", as we call them, used to be pretty popular and have always been voted-on as submitted by the nation ceding the land. Unless Alexandria actively withdraw from accepting the gift (or the Council votes against it on activity reasons), then it'll go through

Re: Victorian removal
As I understand, land gifts were usually done by treaty (so you would have some proof of acceptance).
I just want some kind of legal policy from the Council. A gift is a gift, but to be valid, it should be accepted by the recepient before it is effective.

Re: Victorian removal
Treaties aren't necessary; an informal acceptance by someone with the authority from the nation would suit us fine.
Just for peace of mind, I've contacted Alexandria regarding this matter asking that a delegate accepts (or declines) the "land gift" here as soon as possible before we can accept it on the map...

Re: Victorian removal
In my capacity as Emperor of all Alexandrians, I hereby attest that we have accepted the land gift provided by the former Kingdom of Victoria.

Re: Victorian removal
This must be the end of an era; there'll be no remnants of Lovely other than ruins left on the map once this gets added

Re: Victorian removal
It was reduced to a "residual territory" on the few islands to the south-west of Beaugium's mainland, which was then annexed by Victoria when we reduced our lands to not include Amokolia
