Notes: In light of recent events which highlight the need to support and protect merchants and practitioners of the Stripping Path in southern Apollonia, I am formalizing some claims which I established during the recent war. Note that the Bassarid Empire has been present and active in the region since December, at least, while there has been a Haifan population in the region since 2014.

Interesting. The Haifan population that has been in the area since 2014 is St. Andre - which is Natopian. And the references Haifa is the Haifa that is now part of Caputia, and bears no connection to the more recent inception of the Maritime Markets.

Many Haifans who settled in the region during the period of Haifan rule in St.Andre naturally left the city after Natopia assumed control, in favor of the greener pastures of Llucmajor and Poblenou, where they've since grown to prosper as partners of the Haifo-Pallisican Trade Union. Are some Haifans in the region actually Natopian citizens? Sure, they mostly happily live in St.Andre. Are all of them? Obviously not.

Edit: I honestly lol at the suggestion that this claim blocks anyone in. This claim is perhaps not perfect, and I'm not going to attack the council on this one, but that one particular criticism is pretty damn outlandish.

At the time, I believed that they were from the Maritime Markets of the Straits of Haifa. Not Haifans from the Haifa that has been under the control of Hamland (now Caputia) and the parts that are part of Natopia for several years now. That's my only dispute here. You don't get to control people/nations/characters/e-people that are under my control anymore than I can with Bassarids or whomever else is under your control. I've adhered to that consistently and you keep taking advantage, and whenever I speak up on the matter, you throw a massive fit.

The description for the Sons of St.Andre pretty clearly indicates that the cult was formed by native Haifans in southern Apollonia with the support of the Maritime Markets and Passio-Corum. Look and you'll see that it says this:

Originally established with the support of funding provided by the government of the Florian Republic through its investments in the Port of Vaeringheim on the USSO Common Market, the Sons of St.Andre is comprised mostly of the descendants of Haifans who settled in Apollonia during the period of Haifan rule in Port St.Andre.

It's actually also implied in the name itself. Sons of St.Andre=Born from the Seed of St.Andre.

That's just simply not true, no matter how many times you repeat it. We've had plenty of conversations in which we came to an agreement over the best way to avoid, or eliminate any possible "god-modding." I've heard you out in the past, and we've worked out our differences. For the record, I was a founding member of the original Free State, as you'll recall, and I therefore have at least some right to use the Haifan name and identity, which obviously exists beyond the scope of the Strait itself. Was it godmodding when I claimed western NAPI? Or the Wallis Islands? Both were claimed on the pretense of their Haifan populations. How is this any different? I am claiming virgin cities in which there are Haifan populations. I'm not stealing your shit by any stretch of imagination.

The fact is that according to your own standards, yes, the annexation of the Wallis Islands and western NAPI should have qualified as godmodding, and you should have opposed them at least as vigorously as you've opposed everything I've done since. Both instances were in fact much more egregious examples of godmodding than this claim, to the extent that both states had begun to function as part of Passio-Corum well before any type of treaty had been signed. At the time, this fact contributed to the ratification of a treaty. So what has changed? Why were those examples of "godmodding" acceptable, despite being more egregious than this one? In those cases Passio-Corum was actually using lands which it could not legitimately claim without the existence of a treaty permitting it to do so. This case isn't even comparable. Here I am claiming lands which neither you, nor any part of the Free State, nor Port St.Andre, nor Natopia, have ever claimed.

Is this an agreement which you reached with yourself, by chance? Because I obviously would have never had agreed to anything in those terms.
