Kinda sad to see the last remains of Bosworth go. Fond memories of Plantagenet and Leffingwell.

I did resurrect Drincourt as a Bosworth throwback

Re: [MER] expansion
I feel like I should note that for two out of the last three months, we've been more active than Jingdao who claim a vast amount more than Mercury does.Yastreb wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 3:41 pmI'm not entirely comfortable with the notion of prolonged non-claiming as credit for an expansion of this magnitude. In my opinion expansions should be tied not only to overall development level but also development rate; that is, a large amount of land claimed at once should occur with correspondingly rapid development, otherwise it should be claimed in instalments (as with Senya's creep along the River Camoleo). I also agree that we should judge the merits of the nation rather than the claimant.
In this instance, therefore, I must cast a NAY.
Re: [MER] expansion
Joe, I do not think that is a fair comparison at all. Jingdao has done a lot of cultural work on the wiki lately and we have not even expanded since a huge time... I'll be happy to take the gloves off and make nasty comments about your nation too if you like.
Re: [MER] expansion
Let's not.
I'm personally more than happy to AYE this expansion in the future, when the claim is a bit more sustained by relevant activity.
