Once again I would like to point out that Jack's departure and the transfer of his claims have come as a surprise to me. I therefore understand the Council's considerations not to just accept a claim. Certainly in the light of recent claims by Batavia. May I request that this claim be interpreted as a reservation.

Reservations are for new nations' claims which are not yet old enough to become members. Batavia is not a new nation, and the land here still belongs to the Verionian Empire, following the denial of its last request; an MCS member as it stands...

My claim request is to grant Jack's wish to take the Verionist Empire under my care as long as he is absent. But if the MCS council does not agree, I will conform to that.

I think Rasmus' reasoning makes a lot of sense. I'll develop the VE whenever I feel like it, outside the community. The Benacian territories can go to Batavia though.

We've already not agreed to that, so submitting the claim again doesn't quite imply conforming

Does this mean that you intend for the Verionians' mainland to be removed if not gifted to Batavia?

No. I will keep developing the VE on Keltia. The Benacian territory however, will go to Batavia. Outside the community simply means that the VE will have no relations with other nations, I've updated the wiki page to reflect this intent.

Not a problem. I assumed that "outside" meant not on Micras at all. Thanks for the clarification...
