Re: [FLO] [LIB] Los Liberados independence
I think for the time being this should be put on hold as a Los Liberados independence would seriously fuck up my diplomatic relations with Edgard plus some other micronations and I obviously don't want that to happen. So before granting Los Liberados independence I would need to check with Edgard and Co. to make sure they are okay with it etc.

Re: [FLO] [LIB] Los Liberados independence
To quote the only thing Edgard has said in response to Edwin checking to make sure people are okay with it:
Not sure that really follows the narrative above...Well, as long as Jack does not mess with Alduria, things should be fine.
Re: [FLO] [LIB] Los Liberados independence
I am not in the micras discord, I solely rely on the information granted by a party involved. It appears I was misinformed, and therefore I retracted the statement above.

Re: [FLO] [LIB] Los Liberados independence
Please do not take into account my opinion on anything related to this claim, as I have no right to have a say on the matter.
To clarify, my past concern that Edwin alludes to was that Iron Company activity in Togafaga could down the line be used by Jack or the Iron Company or the Verionist Empire to mess with Alduria at the time when we were clashing. I brought this up to Edwin time and time again when he'd ask me about a treaty between Floria and Alduria and on greater trade and cooperation over several months. It seemed like he only came to understand that only recently. Once the concern was addressed, Floria-Aldurian relations and trade resumed as they were before.

Re: [FLO] [LIB] Los Liberados independence
Thank you for the clarification Edgard. From a historical IC perspective, the Aldrurian objection to the Iron Company base on Togafaga is understandable, although I of course would hold a very different position on the matter. I was misinformed by, what I think was unintentionally ambigious language by Edwin, which led me to believe that there was an OOC thing going on here. I'm glad to see that this is not the case.

Okay with everything clear I think this can be voted on
Re: [FLO] [LIB] Los Liberados independence
Felicidades comandante!
Re: [FLO] [LIB] Los Liberados independence
Muchas Gracias
Btw - for map updating purposes - I notice that Corcovado still has the yellow lettering from the Batavian Confederation period, could that be changed & could [LIB] be added?
Thanks!

Re: [FLO] [LIB] Los Liberados independence
The colour around the town looks Batavian too. How did it end up Batavian? When did it pass on the Los Libs? Did it become part of the Florian protectorate too?

Re: [FLO] [LIB] Los Liberados independence
Los Liberados was Batavian orange for a short while under the "Batavian Confederation" before returning to an independent nation on the map legend. It appears turning it back to Liberadosan purple (and therefore subsequently Florian brown) was overlooked in the dissolution claim, so it has remained under Batavia. Knowing that it was Los Liberados' land before Batavia's, I'll assume that it should have officially been retained alongside the mainland islands?
Re: [FLO] [LIB] Los Liberados independence
Indeed, it has consistently remained a Liberadosan territory.
