Progress & Moving Forward (Gotzborg)
Dear Former Citizens and other interested persons,
As you know, The Royal Kingdom of Gotzborg departed the micronational scene in early 2007 after four years online in what amounted to the 'hiatus'.
Almost three years later Gotzborg is navigating a possible return to the micronational world. Possible return? Yes, not for sure, it will depend on a couple things.
Firstly due to the vagaries and fickle nature of the online world and the micro world in particular the most important component of the online world, being human resources, must be satisfied in order for Gotzborg to forge ahead in a successful, productive and rewarding manner. Gotzborg in the past has been fortunate to count upon the dedication of a core group of citizens who made it their primary home.
Now it would be unfair to expect former citizens to 'come home' and abandon their other endeavors that they had to pick up after the sudden departure of 2007, however in order for us to properly gauge and plan for the possible return, I would ask all persons who are interested in receiving updates to please join the forums. Whether or not you are someone who is interested in joining Gotzborg as a citizen or simply a foreign national interested in hearing of developments and progress here, join up. You don't have to post, and nothing is required.
What will happen though at some point is that all registered persons on the forums will be contacted by email to notify of the opening of the citizenship application. Those interested may react accordingly and those who are not, have to do nothing!
If you don't want to commit to anything at this point, then this is the way to go, see how things go and see what comes. However some people may be chomping at the bit to 'get going' and for those people I would ask you to email me directly at gotzborgATshawDOTca and let me know your interest.
Regards,
August Charles II
