I demand that you cease and desist from mentioning my name, likeness, or exploits in this or any future article of the Micran Moon or any other newspaper/s you now or in future even partially operate.

Re: Micran Moon
Erasmus, you sound bitter. Did someone hurt you feelings?
Edit: After giving it some further thought, I think that I came across as too harsh. Your article roused an emotional response, and for that I give you credit. My main objection to what you've said is that your entire argument is that our hobby is basically pointless and useless. In general this may be true, but on a personal level I don't agree at all. Micronationalism is an important part of my character, and though I haven't always been terribly active, I have never ceased thinking about Passas. To me, it is a living, organic place, and I am little more than an outside observer who occasionally pays attention. I don't even really like to interfere to be honest, but from time to time I'm driven by a strange compulsion to, well, to play a part. I can't really explain it, and perhaps I can't really justify it, but I sure as hell do take a lot from it, and I think that it benefits me as a person.

I think this article reflects the negativity of the dying and dead nations on Bastion like Gralus, Shireroth, Jingdao and Babkha. There are people there who think this hobby has to be saved but those people are usually also the ones who don't do much, for example just "bumping" threads and expects others to do the work. I don't know much about Passas so the article is not about you.

Re: Micran Moon
I agree with the sentiment, if not so much the wording, of this article...

There are one or two people like that, but I think it's wrong to characterise the experienced "hopeful" micronationalists of Bastion in this way. Generally we (I count myself as one) are more busy than lazy.Erasmus wrote:I think this article reflects the negativity of the dying and dead nations on Bastion like Gralus, Shireroth, Jingdao and Babkha. Yup. I dissapeared due yo commitments. Problems are easy to identify like it bring easier to start things than sustain them and I am sure everyone has their two cents on what is wrong.
Despite years of micras' 'dying' and being saved though; it keeps trundling on. No point being positive or negative. Thats the way it is and have a hoice to try grow it, moan about it and do nothing or get on withbwhat you were doing.
If you want the community here to grow then try open it to other groups of micronationalist. Thats always been what has helped. Some stay, some go and some come back time to time. Its nothing new. Lots of people have gone but there are new ones here too. I guess my point is that I've heard this about a million times before over the last few years and it is normally just peaks and troughs with the odd 'get your finger out' moment where we get some more nations on here.
Hats off to those who want to solve ti though, they are always the ones who create new ideas and anything interestingnthat ever happens.
