MCS Advent Calendar returns

Do you like Micras? What about Christmas? And abysmal amateur poetry? Then you'll love the return of the MCS advent calendar!
Once a popular trend in more naïve times, multiple MCS advent calendars were produced about a decade ago, but have not been produced for some time now. Having been produced by Spangle, the old editions were a little more tech-savvy than this one, and used the claimsmap as the calendar's background, with doors opening over certain nations. While I've not been able to make it quite as snazzy this year (in other words, I found a template online and thought "that'll do"), I have tried to make it a bit Micras-friendly, with the poems behind the doors being in a rough east-to-west order.
As the first door is now open for most, I present to you:
