Hello,

The 'check out these articles which are linked to but don't exist' page on MicrasWiki isn't very helpful so I've compiled a list here of articles which MicrasWiki doesn't have but really ought to- or articles which the Wiki does have but have next to no or not nearly enough content.
I will make it a priority of my own to get a couple of these done but seeing as articles are hard work I cannot make any promises.

Apollo States

I'm not quite familiar with this one. There was a Union of Apollo States, a micronation merger in late 2000, and there are Apollo-esque countries but that's a term better umbrella'd under the Apollo Sector heading.

I'm confused. I just logged into MicrasWiki to create some of these, and the first two I tried (Micras and Elwynn) both existed.

I've added the Nation template to the Elwynn Republic page and have added some more history about Ashkenatzi Elwynn to the Elwynn region page. I didn't know that Shireroth viewed the Trans-Elwynn as some kind of Ashkenatzi provocation but that wasn't our intention at the time. We'd just met Ísur-Ai, a newly active citizen, and figured the region which was then a military frontier could be more useful if we encouraged his activity with making it Elwynnese, as was his original idea.
Interesting to hear the story from the other side, though.

I have featured the Elwynn Republic article on the Wiki's front page so as to publicise the fact that MicrasWiki is still there, still being updated, and still needs your help.

Seriously- it's very heartening that others are chipping in with some excellent contributions, though- keep it up, people!

We were worried because of that Batavian part-Jewish area that almost sparked a war (can't remember any of the details now) and the use of Benaciastadt as provocation for war with Amokolia (or Tellia, my memory is totally going). We figured bad things happened to people who shared minority groups with Ashkenatza and that at some point you'd take it into your hands to "liberate" the Elw across the river. Good times, good times

Oh, I dunno- I prefer to think of such situations as wars of pre-emptive retaliation...
The Batavian situation was interesting. Ashkenatza minor, as it's now known by Batavians, was two regions which Ashkenatza gave Batavia in the Central Benacian Nations conference back in late 2008 which saw Ashkenatza, Amokolia, and Tellia jointly expand into the unclaimed areas of the centre of the continent. We gave Batavians small areas of land along the Volhyrian borderlands as concessions for their not being able to access the unclaimed area, and one day felt a bit belligerent. It was a mistake to pressure them about it in retrospect but it is important to note when looking at that situation that those lands were in fact Ashkenatzi before they were Batavian. They're Batavian now and will remain that way, so that dispute is finished anyway.
Benaciastadt was used as a Casus Belli for the Ashkenatzi-Tellian War, which was in fact prepared by Ashkenatzim and Tellians in advance as the Tellian King, Christopher I, said he could see no future in Tellia and joined Ashkenatza instead. He's still there, under the name Chaim Wajnstein, and a valued citizen too- hence why the Ashkenatzi-Tellian War was basically a storyline to make the annexation sound more exciting.

To get back on topic, as I've said many times it's even more important that people with a long history in this Sector such as your good self contribute to MicrasWiki. There are so many nations and historical events of which there are no remnants left on the internet, only in the depths of people's hard drives- if you had any extra information on nations such as Novaya Zemlya and Baracão which were really very important nations at one stage (but both their forums and websites are completely down), it'd be a great asset to the Wiki if you could add it.

I'd appreciate other people looking it over and adding things according to their expertise: eventually I'd like to make one good enough that we can use it to represent us on MicroWiki and places like that.

Poor old Vanderveer could use an article, I think.
