FNORD article sources?

Re: FNORD article sources?
On that topic: when I'm working on the layered maps, how do I handle map versions with significant deviations from the standard? Not just geographically (though that's a biggie) but things like using different fonts, using non-standard symbols for things... Mostly not an issue with newer maps, but it did happen more often in older ones.

As far as I know, the archive layered maps should be pixel-perfect with the corresponding claims maps. So I suppose it should still have the defects of these. And you are using color select, then copying, right? I hope you didn't do the labels by hand O_o

I haven't started major work on any of them yet, but I plan to do it that way, yeah. It aggravates my obsessive-compulsive itch to preserve the defects, though.
Hmm, maybe if I'm feeling REALLY ambitious I'll do both a picture-perfect version and a "corrected" version... Even if the latter didn't get used for anything, it'd make me feel better knowing it had been done...
