Remember, accounts are now unified, so you need to log into the account you use on the forums. Does that work?

I told him to ask here. He's tried logging-in with his forum details, but gets "Login error. You have not specified a valid user name."

Shrug, don't know. Could be that it never copied across? Best bet is registering a new account.
