Leader question
As per this discussion on Normark, we've discussed passing the Crown around to spark some activity. However, a good portion of our citizens are actually leaders of their own micronations. A few micronationalists, as far as I know, have actually gotten away with being leader of two nations at the same time, and due to the relatively brief period in which their Kingship would be in Normark, I figured it wouldn't be a legal issue with the MCS.
Am I correct? Alfhild is actually Joe from Nova England, and since we're doing an alphabetical round-robin circulation, I thought I'd clear it 100% with the MCS.

Re: Leader question
Does that rule actually exist anymore? The closest that I can see in the current charter is
4c)Individuals ruling multiple nations, or nations ran by individuals who already rule nations on the map may be subject to scrutiny when applying for claims.

Re: Leader question
Ja I figured so. I did read the charter before posting but you never know. Scrutiny implies a per-case basis so I thought I'd clear it for this case and let the MCS know that we're going to be implementing a round-robin style Kingship.

Re: Leader question
It used to be absolutely prohibited but it should be fine now, so long as it's not being used to allow papel states.
Re: Leader question
Well, this won't take effect until after 1 APR, our 1st birthday. Until then I plan on making various reforms to somewhat limit the powers of the Grand King in that regard. I am not sure how I'll do it as I'd like to keep the majority of the all-reaching powers of the Grand King for emergency purposes etc.

Re: Leader question
Yeah, that's all fine now. I'm sure Shireroth's been in the same situation with its Kaiser position having many different people in it over time
Re: Leader question
Actually, nope. The Kaiser has to be a single-cit of Shireroth.

Ah, fair enough - I'm not versed in the ins and outs
But yeah, it's definitely happened before...
