About the colours
Well hello. I've come with a little request:
I have noticed that the colours that represent two different nations are -in some cases- very similar. And I think that some people who doesn't know every nation may find it very easy to mistake -for example- Hamland for Ashkenatza, or Senya for Ocia.
So I think that we need some colour changes in order to avoid any confusion. What do you think?

Re: About the colours
The issue is currently being discussed. See viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6356
Personally, I think the idea of just writing the name of the country in a different font or in cursive writing on the map is more sensible than changing colours. Because there just aren't enough different basic colours to give each nation one that's clearly distinct from all the others.

Re: About the colours
The claims map is in PNG format, which means it can support 16 million colors. The older claims map (back when I was Admin-Gen) was in GIF format with 256 colors. In both cases there was more than enough color to go around. One of the unfortunate side-effects of the PNG format is that the custom-tailored palette I created for the GIF version is no longer used - when colors became difficult to distinguish I used to simply tweak them in the palette until they were differentiated adequately.

Can you upload that palette? :3?Orion wrote:The claims map is in PNG format, which means it can support 16 million colors.
