Re: ANT-ELW modification
We just need a rule that if you miss x many votes, or are absent without posting or voting for two weeks or something, you are replaced if possible. Absentee council members have been a problem before. It's mostly a problem for the nations who have council members, because for it to function we need 3 to say 'yes' to all these rote modifications and so on. Generally I think the council is in agreement these days.He can't vote. He's Elwynnese.
Maybe the rules should be reviewed...

Oh, and if there are 3 members from the same nation, we have a problem. Not a problem to be solved with exemption but a more representative council. It's simply not true that all our talent is bount up in Elwynn, for example. It's obviously just an odd twist that Normark and, of all places, Antica have been brought into it (Not sure if Einhorn was a national before annexation, but I realise Chris was).

Re: ANT-ELW modification
We did start-up an unofficial "thing" where Council members have to post on the forum at least once a fortnight (or give a reason why they can't), but we're all so busy with other things that a fortnight seems like no time at all. Seriously, I still think it's early January, time's gone so quickly
The claim in question was just a tad unfortunate really as it passed us by that Nick was also Elwynnese, so we'd actually reached a majority vote from who was eligible! However, having two full members and the Junior out of action on one claim is a bit of an extreme situation, so there could definitely be an argument for removing one of them due to conflict of interests (or similar). Plus, Nick hasn't visited here since December, so he's probably inactive enough to warrant being removed from the Council - two birds, one stone, effectively - so if there is support for such a move among the public, then we should motion that to happen
