I wouldn't be inclined to think that any other country doing professional ólbescból is automatically doing it better.

Twelve years' development is quite a protracted "knee-jerk". Ólbescból was specifically created to be what Gaelic sports are to Ireland - it's our thing. I'm not going to stop people having the odd tournament or whatever, but pretending it's remotely popular outside of Craitland (i.e. enough to be professional) goes against its very foundations.
Why bother reading my comments and completely misinterpreting them? For nations that want to partake in a wider society, there needs to be some give and take, sure, like I mentioned in my examples. But if people want to be isolationist, that's their prerogative and shouldn't have eyes rolled at them for not pandering to others' unfair/unwanted use of their creations if not permitted...Then why bother tolerating input from anyone else?
