Phinbella 0-4 Senya
39' Deryebel Čagelhîmer
61' Jan Maytek
83' Sam Kimsin
88' Izzanie Murad (o.g.)
A much changed Senya side overcame Phinbella infront of an excited crowd at the Rintis Island Governmental Stadium as the hosts fell 4-0 to the World Champions.
Phinbella, who had impressed in qualifying with wins over Passas and New Vaduz started well, but had to sit back to soak up the Senyan attack. The defensive strategy was working well, with the Phinbellans sitting back and Gopal Kumar pulling off a number of good saves to keep the World Champions at bay. However, after holding out almost until half-time, the deadlock was broken with a neat passing move, which was completed by Deryebel Čagelhîmer pulling off a Cruyff turn before firing low into the bottom right corner to put the Senyans ahead.
The Phinbellans regrouped at the break, but as the Senyan put on a few more of their star players. the defence weakened, with Jan Maytek doubling the advantage on the hour mark after Phinbella failed to clear their lines at a corner, before Maytek headed home during a scramble. And despite some more resolute defending, the Phinbellans legs went late on as Senya finished two more chances off, first Kimsin lashed home from the edge of the box before Ƨinkœ Zvet's cross was diverted into his own net by Izzanie Murad.
Despite the scoreline, the performance from Phinbella showed clear progression in the right direction, whilst Senya continue to build for the Copa Apollonia with friendlies against Sanama and Talenore.
