Lakkvia vs. Hurmu Trust Territory (11/11)
*Played 11th November*
Lakkvia 2-2 Hurmu Trust Territory
16' - N. Natsagdorj
59' - K. Viðarsson
66' - G. Helgason (o.g.)
83' - L. Serby
Lakkvia's last ever match came against the team with which it shall soon merge, as part of the celebrations surrounding the signing of the Vesüha Accords. Held at the Hurmu Ground, the exhibition match saw the namesake Trust Territory take an early lead through a scrappy headed finish from Natsagiin Natsagdorj, who nodded Bjarne Gunnarsson's cross into the far corner of the net with a bounce or two. This lead was held into the second half, but the hosts fought back after earlier struggles; a solo break from veteran forward Kristján Viðarsson ended with a calm finish to draw level while a few minutes later a second Lakkvian goal was score via an unfortunate deflection off Guðmund Helgason. Freddie Vorgensen's speculative shot from distance rebounded off the defender's outstretched leg and took the ball into the other side of the net to where goakeeper Kobal Siva was diving. The Trust Territory, however, ultimately snatched a tie as the game neared its end, after Linus Serby was on hand to poke home after a smart assist from Tajbar w-Esk cut through some close marking.
With midnight of the 12th coming up shortly, which will see the official transfer of Lakkvia to Hurmudan hands to reform a new independent nation-state, both teams will be dissolved to see the original Hurmu side established once more for the first time since the middle of 2013.
