Hitchel Swazkilatz to challenge best friend for Number 1 spot
Krasnovlac and Belaov Treble captain, Yech Reich-kyrt, has been superb during his time as a professional footballer. The 19-year-old has won the league and picked up several individual awards along the way. But what many people do not know is how far his friendship with Jankel City custodian, Hitchel Swazkilatz goes.
Swazkilatz and Reich-kyrt have been friends since childhood in the city of Raichfield, Kyrtzhuosci and the former recalls his time with Reich-kyrt and how in-love with football he was. "Yech was always crazy about football ever since he watched Rodney MacLeod in the World Cup. You'd catch him diving everywhere, kicking small items. All of the sort."
The two even played in the same team for Raichfield Secondary School, and as you'd expect, Reich-kyrt was the sole custodian in the sticks. "Yech has always been a number 1. He just has that professionalism that makes it hard to drop him for others. Of course that was annoying to me too," Swazkilatz said. Though he never got to feature in between the sticks, the Jankel City goalkeeper made his appearances in front of goal as a striker, even scoring a few goals here and there.
"It's been an honour to watch Yech progress not only as a player but as a person. He has this extreme sense of will and resilience that makes it hard to overtake him. With that said, I am also working hard to hopefully take the number one spot in the national team."
