Well it's pretty clear that nobody's submitting any more teams, so I guess we'll start in the next week or so.

Okay. When in the year is the continental competition supposed to be played? I need to structure my league accordingly.

It's played throughout the season, with the group stages being around November-December, and the knock-out stages running from around January to May. I can't remember the exact dates off the top of my head.
