Senya ran riot over a poor Talenore side in the Competition's opening game. It took just ten minutes for Izzy Saint-Claire to round the keeper and tuck home to give Senya the lead. The second took longer, but eventually came in the second half, when Alisa Danetskë lost her marker from a corner and nodded home a free header from a free-kick from the far left flank. Lucy Caterham thundered a home a loose ball from 16 yards out before Saint-Claire slotted beyond the keeper for a fourth Senyan goal. Danetskë powered home a free-kick from 20 yards before the riot was completed by substitute Lëna Hustved to give the Senyans a convincing win.
Senya 6-0 Talenore
10' Izzy Saint-Claire
51' Alisa Danetskë
64' Lucy Caterham
73' Izzy Saint-Claire
77' Alisa Danetskë
89' Lëna Hustved
Vyktory gave an assured performance in the day's second game, and were unlucky to come away with only a point. Amelia North headed them infront from close range after her and her strike partners missed a flurry of decent oppurtunities to take the lead. Hamland drew level deservadly in the early stage of the second half when Antonina O'Malley tapped home into an empty net following a good cross from Tricia Fellner, but Vyktory looked the stronger team, but just could not finish off the chances they got.
Vyktory 1-1 Hamland

52' Antonina O'Malley

Gerenia are being tipped as one of the favourites for this tournament, and lived up to that billing on five minutes, when Alîne Bietal finished off a sublime team goal past a helpless Ioana Lupei in the Juclandian goal. Mariane Cirut volleyed home from outside the box to double her side's advantage 15 minutes later. To their credit, the Juclandians put up a strong fight, and matched Gerenia throughout the second half. but with tiring legs, Gerenia forced a third and final goal, when substitute Císele Kiremnat headed home from a corner late on.
Gerenia 3-0 Juclandia
5' Alîne Bietal
20' Mariane Cirut
86' Císele Kiremnat
Neither Fort Kolgrad nor North Antarctica threatened to score in what will go down as a bore-draw. The teams registered just one shot on target through-out the whole game, with Karla Schmidt's free-kick requiring attention from the NAPI goalie.
Fort Kolgrad 0-0 North Antarctica

Birgeshir and Lucerne got Group C of these World Championships off to a thunderous start in Kateki Blavisen, with a crowd of over 40,000 treated to an enthralling contest. Ækela Katırcıkojka headed home from a corner to give Birgeshir the lead, before Zeynep Kematojka slotted home from the edge of the box just two minutes later to double their lead. Lucerne responded in the second half with a superb volley from Lanuola Tuiasosopo finding the top corner. However, Birgeshir responded, and bagged a third when Dilşæd Neferojka bundled the ball over the line in a crowded penalty area. Nes-Maut Avcınojka's free-kick from the edge of the box somehow beat Lucerne keeper Tau Pae’a, much to her disgruntlement, before a Kadriye Macarojka piledriver and a closer range header from Isi-Em-Kheb Solak rounded off the Birgesh scoring. Lucerne were able to convert a late penalty when Talia Saeni sent Damla Demircikojka the wrong way after substitute Mer-Ankhes Demir brought her down when she was through 1-on-1 with the goalie. Demir will miss the next game due to her actions.
Birgeshir 6-2 Lucerne

Aryasht and Nova England played out an interesting an tactical battle in Moroni. Terva Minjeskhāl headed Aryasht infront early on from a corner, but the game was largely controlled by the midfield. Esther Tomlinson's 35-yard wonder strike made sure Nova England claimed at least a point, and five minutes later she rounded the goalie to ensure all three would be taken to their next game against Lucerne.

This game always promised to cause excitement and it certainly lived up to the pre-match hype. Esther May put the Mercurians infront on the half-hour mark when she slotted beyond the keeper once 1-on-1. The game only got better in the second half, with both sides rattling each others' crossbars before Kimmernaq Augo turned home a Juaannannguaq Suersaq to draw the scores level. The game went into over-drive late on though. Janet Phillips handled the ball in the box and picked up a yellow before Thora Henriksen sent the keeper the wrong way to give her side a 2-1 advantage. However, that only last for six minutes, when Charlie Jackson lobbed the keeper from the edge of the box. With the game heading into stoppage time, Frida Schefte brought down Jackson when she went 1-on-1 in the box, and Esther May smashed the penalty into the top-right corner beyond the keeper. But Qavaqaqqaqqaniitqeqertaq salvaged a point thanks to a mis-hap at the back of Mercury's defence, with Janet Phillips' back pass being hit with too little power, allowing Sikkerneq Arpaati to rush in and slot beyond the keeper to claim a draw for her team.
Mercury 3-3 Qavaqaqqaqqaniitqeqertaq
31' Esther May
60' Kimmernaq Augo
79' Thora Henriksen (pen)
85' Charlie Jackson
90'+2' Esther May (pen)
90'+4' Sikkerneq Arpaati
90' OFF Frida Schefte
Ergonia claimed a win in a lifeless game thanks to a penalty in the first 15 minutes. Irena Paertvelen was felled before Jazz Merkupel slotted beyond the keeper in what proved to be the only shot on target in the game. Merkupel rattled the bar late on, but little kept the crowd from staying in their seats for the closing moments of the game.
Ergonia 1-0 Nova English Korea
14' Jazz Merkupel (pen)

Vyktory pushed a strong Senyan team all the way in Kateki Blavisen. Senya needed over half an hour to break down, and the goal eventually came when Amy Winter's effort from the edge of the box took a slight deflection to reach the bottom corner. Midway through the second half, Izzy Saint-Claire rose highest in the box to give Senya 2-0 lead. Vyktory got a deserved goal when Fiona Silverman nodded home from a Roberta Darlington corner, but Senya hanged on, and in the process became the first nation to ever book their space in the Quarter-Finals.
Senya 2-1 Vyktory
33' Amy Winters
67' Izzy Saint-Claire
86' Fiona Silverman
Hamland left it late to defeat a lackluster Talenore side. Substitute Frida MacLeod nodded her side infront with just under 20 minutes to go. Kate Teadoir, daughter of Hamland's Seneschal, doubled her country's advantage with a shot from 8 yards out, to put them in the driving seat to advance from the group with one game to go.
Hamland 2-0 Talenore
72' Frida MacLeod
81' Kate Teadoir

Gerenia secured their place in the Quarter-Finals in style as they disposed of a poor Fort Kolgrad team. It took them 24-minutes to get off the mark, but Mariane Cirut's curling free-kick from 20-yards out was well worth the wait. In the closing moments of the second half, she doubled her tally, heading home at the back post from a corner. Gerenia made it three just 12 minutes into the second half, when Daniele Hedrîn's effort from just outside the box crept into the bottom left-hand corner, beyond the arms of Fort Kolgrad keeper Fieke Freuer. Hedrîn doubled her tally 11 minutes later, volleying home in the box after a goalmouth scramble. Substitute Maria Alvar-Razéel completed the rout with just over 5 minutes of the game remaining, when Hedrîn played the ball back to her from the byline, leaving Razéel with an open goal, which the 27-year-old midfielder duly tucked home.
Gerenia 5-0 Fort Kolgrad
24' Mariane Cirut
43' Mariane Cirut
57' Daniele Hedrîn
68' Daniele Hedrîn

Juclandia had to come from behind with three second-half goals to defeat a tough North Antarctican team. Jessica Finchley's effort from outside the box took two deflections before settling in the bottom corner, with the ball stricking Alexandra Oniciuc last before going in. The goal was awarded to Oniciuc after TV replays showed the ball would have gone wide had she not touched the ball. Juclandia took until the second half to find a reply, when Mădălina Bălan raced through one-on-one, and dinked the ball over the keeper to give Juclandia the lead. Florenta Căpreanu doubled her side's advantage nine minutes later, when she flicked home a Oniciuc cross at the far post. Ursa Buchanescu completed the scoring in the final minutes, with a nicely taken shot from 16 yards out.
North Antarctica 1-3 Juclandia
8' Alexandra Oniciuc (o.g.)
53' Mădălina Bălan
62' Florenta Căpreanu
83' Ursa Buchanescu

Birgeshir put themselves within touching distance of the quarter-finals after a competent first half display against Aryasht. Sıla Dëmircilojka took 14 minutes to give her country the lead, when she was put through on goal by Enise Kundækçı, cooly slotting the ball into the bottom corner. Enise Kundækçı looped a header into the roof of the net 15 minutes later after Aryasht failed to clear the ball in the box, before late on in the half she grabbed a brace, heading home again, this time from a corner. Birgeshir kept up their strong performance long into the second half, with Aryasht being restricted to a handful of half chances.
Birgeshir 3-0 Aryasht
14' Sıla Dëmircilojka
29' Enise Kundækçı
44' Enise Kundækçı
Lucerne knew that a defeat would eliminate them from the competition, and came into the game knowing they needed to hold on to at least a point, if not a win. As such, the Antarctican outfit proved stiff opposition for a Nova England side who'd only just scraped a win against Aryasht in their opener. Lucerne were penned in for the first 25 minutes or so, with Nova England failing to make the pressure count. Lucerne got their break-through with just over 10 minutes left of the first half, when defender La’ei Heti headed home from a corner to give her side a suprise lead. Nova England dominated the remainder of the game, but with Lucerne overloading their own box, they found it difficult to convert their possession into chances, let alone goals, and Lucerne somehow held out for a win which throws the entire group open.
Nova England 0-1 Lucerne
34' La’ei Heti
