Senyan League squad rule change
The Senyan League has announced a new rule change prior to the start of the 2018-19 season surrounding registration of players. The following rules have now been implemented.
1) Teams are required to complete all transfers ahead of the start of the season. Only the signing of players will be permitted in the following situations
a) calling up a youth playerl
b) signing an emergency goalkeeper in the event of two goalkeeping injuries
c) during the January transfer window (1 January - 31 January)
2) Teams are allowed a maximum of 23 registered first team players, including players on loan. The 23 man squad must include
a) a minimum of TWO goalkeepers
b) a minimum of TEN players who are eligible to be called up to the Senyan national team*
3) All clubs must field at least TWO Senyan national team eligible players* at all times during league competition, and SIX during cup competitions.
4) All clubs are allowed to loan out a maximum of FIVE players to non-Senyan FA/FKFB affiliated clubs.
5) All players must be given a shirt number between 1 and 23. The number 1 jersey is reserved for goalkeepers, whilst the numbers 2-11 are reserved for outfield players.
6) Teams may call up a maximum of SEVEN youth players to their senior team squads at any time during the year, and they will be given a shirt number between 24 and 30, corresponding to their order of selection.
7) Any club which violates any of these rules will be deducted 10 points and barred from signing players in the following transfer window.
