Talenore vs. Senya friendly (26/06)
*Played 26th June*
Talenore 1-3 Senya
14' - M. Fambucci
51' - J. Maytek
57' - B. Hands
84' - J. Maytek
Following on from their watershed defeat to the Florian Republic, Senya were back in action against another dark horse in the shape of Talenore, who were beginning their own preparations ahead of their trip to Birgeshir. The Talenoreans must have smelled blood after the Senyans' prior defeat and managed to take the lead relatively early; squad débutant Michele Fambucci justified his starting place will a long-range effort that found a gap between the defence before skimming through beyond the dive of Bɏankarlënœ. Despite going behind, Senya dominated the remainder of the half, but Tolâso kept the sprightly Danetskë at bay.
The second half saw the beaten 2017 finalists make the most of their chances, and they came from behind to lead quicker than Talenore went ahead after the restart. Captain Barnaby Hands was the key threat down the left scoring himself with a thunderbolt after making room in the box following a run in behind the defender to lay off Jan Maytek for a tap-in six minutes earlier. And Maytek it was who put the game beyond doubt at the death with a curled effort from the right side of the area after creating room to receive the ball from Danetskë, who was muted for the majority of the ninety.
Senya meet Juclandia on the final day of June before travelling to Birgeshir, while Talenore's second and last warm-up falls on July 3rd in Sanama.
