FMF World Cup Hosts 2010 and 2011
Well, as last year's World Cup is eventually over, it's time to pick the host for the next (before we can get the qualifying underway) and the one after.
Because the hosting of the FMF World Cup has a rotation policy, only nations from the EMUFA and AEFA regions are allowed to submit bids to host in 2010 and 2011.
The following nations are permitted to submit bids to host the 2010 and 2011 World Cups:
AEFA
Antica
Dura
Enthdover
Flanders
Hurmu
Imperium Incognita
Livlandia
Mahoz HaSephardim
Novatainia*
Orontea
Patrova
Réunion
Stormark
Toketi*
Torrington Islands
Verac
(* - Only single bids from these nations will be considered)
EMUFA
Barrington
Bobalania
Craitland
Cyberia
Hamland
Interland
Netherlands
Nova England
Nova English Korea
Ocia
Taeland
Uantir
Valencia
Nations wishing to host the World Cup in either 2010 or 2011 should have an official complete this form and post it in a reply in this thread ASAP:
Good luck to all bidding nations!
NB: Nations which claim land in either AEFA or EMUFA territory before the cut-off date for entries will also be allowed to submit bids to host.

Re: FMF World Cup Hosts 2010 and 2011
I'll get the ball rolling with this
Nation Name: Craitland
Association: EMUFA
Number of Stadiums: 8
Oesst Whiteside, Cherry Trees (54,000)
Oesst Harbór Arenä, Osĵätoņ (48,000)
Oesst Darrä Arenä, Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland (36,000)
Jämtfall Stadión, Tiem (34,000)
*Xäiville City Arenä, Xäiville (19,000 - being increased)*
*Grey Park, Kealb (15,500 - being increased)*
*Diamond Lane, Róndlinga (15,000 - being increased)*
Leader: King Craitman H. Pellegrino
Government: Absolute monarchy
Number of Leagues: 4
Number of Teams in Premier Division: 8
Why do you think you deserve to host the world cup?: Craitland is absolutely football-mad. We already have the image of being the "footballing micronation" on Micras. We have the oldest continuous football league on Micras, with some of the best players from all over the planet playing in our top-flight League 1. The Craitish national team is also one of the most successful on Micras, and has won the World Cup on two occasions (more than any other nation). Although we are not looking to benefit ourselves by hosting the World Cup, as some nations may be, we do promise that we would use our vast footballing knowledge and experience to make the best World Cup ever, should we be granted the honour of hosting such an event.
Re: FMF World Cup Hosts 2010 and 2011
Nation Name: Hamland
Association: EMUFA
Number of Stadiums: 8
Avidion Stadium, New Kirrie Thistle (66,449)
Morfaga Heroes Memorial Stadium, Morfaga North Rangers (55,321)
Fisherman Road, Hamlet O'Groppa United (48,314)
St Josaphat's Stadium, Porapa FC. (44,446)
Oin's Street, Kibay Rangers (43,494)
Haembeer Garden, Tly Hibernian (33,324)
Royal Union Stadium, Ad & Tkir United (27,833)
Holback Street, FC Garrak (23,004)
Leader: King Lewis II Miller
Government: Parlamentary monarchy
Number of Leagues: 1
Number of Teams in Premier Division: 12
Why do you think you deserve to host the world cup?: Hamland is a developing nation, with a big footbal fancy croud, and we are working on profesionalizing the league even more. We have a nice infraestructure for hosting the world cup. We participated in the last two world cups. We also tend to unite people with sports, for example, we host two teams from outside Hammish territory in our league (FC New Vaduz and VB New Schaan, from New Vaduz [Cra])
Juan Teadoir
Seneschal of the Kingdom of Hamland
Duke of Morfaga
Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Saint Josaphat
Leader of the Hamland National Party
Former Prime Minister (2007-2011)

Due to their recent removal, Sarasovia are now no longer permitted to submit a bid to host. That's not saying they were going to anyway, but I'm just letting you know

Re: FMF World Cup Hosts 2010 and 2011
WARNING: There is only one more week until all bids must be submitted.
The exception to this is that if the FMF does not receive any bids from AEFA nations before the 20th, the deadline for submitting bids for the 2011 World Cup will be extended and only AEFA-affiliated teams may submit bids to host it.

Re: FMF World Cup Hosts 2010 and 2011
A decision has been made, and the hosts of the 2010 FMF World Cup will be:
HAMLAND!
Congratulations, Hamland. The FMF looks forward to working closely with the Hammish government and Hammish football association in order to create the most exciting World Cup yet.
Commiserations to Craitland too, whose bid was only just bettered by Hamland's.
Now that the hosts have been chosen, it's time for the teams to prove their worth and qualify. The qualification stages for each FMF sector will be drawn and will commence soon.
Well done again to Hamland!

Re: FMF World Cup Hosts 2010 and 2011
I make a return to thank the FMF for its decision on Hamland's behalf. As this is a fairly community based event, I feel it necessary to become a part of the community again in order to help make Hamland more of a part of the community and help this event be run as best as possible.
Commiserations to Craitland and we thank the FMF again for their decision.
