Re: FMF World Cup Hosts 2010 and 2011
Before the qualifying for the 2010 FMF World Cup can get going (some time next month), the number of places in the tournament per sector have to be allocated.
Because of Hamland's hosting of this World Cup and Alexandria's winning of last year's, both of which earn automatic qualification, there are fourteen places to fight for. The following number of places are to be allocated:
AEFA: 4
CTFA: 2 (+1 - Alexandria)
EMUFA: 5 (+1 - Hamland)
WMFA: 3
The formats for each sector's qualifying and the number of teams involved will be announced in their respective threads (when they're started )...

Re: FMF World Cup Hosts 2010 and 2011
Due to their inevitable removals, Hurmu and Livlandia are no longer permitted to submit bids for the 2011 World Cup, and have been removed from the list. They, along with Universalis, also won't be competing in this year's qualifiers either
EDIT: However, Holzborg can now put forward a bid to host the 2011 World Cup and will compete in this year's qualifying

Sorry about my inactivity. Being a political activist has it's tolls. Getting into the footy zone now.
Re: FMF World Cup Hosts 2010 and 2011
I've created space for the world cup on our forums. The new forums are a lot better and also work, so I hope we can provide the best cup we can

Re: FMF World Cup Hosts 2010 and 2011
Nation Name: Shireroth
Association: WMFA
Number of Stadiums: 10 Submitted for World Cup (16 in Shireroth)
- National Stadium (Shirekeep/Fort Foley)* <to be constructed>
- New JHI Stadium (Kingsgate), 42500* <to be constructed>
- Docklands Stadium (Shirekeep/Docklands), 45000* <to be expanded>
- Haunted Park (Mortis Mercatoria), 45000
- Halberd Arena (Syrelwynn), 40000
- Antya Stadion (Apollo City), 40000
- Cerce Gladatorial Arena (Cerce), 30000
- Dutch's Field (Blackrock Nua), 86,000
- VBNC Field (Brookshire Hamlet), 90,000
- The Island Dome (Yardistan), 75,000
Leader: Kaiser Fish XII
Government: Imperial Republic
Number of Leagues: 1
Number of Teams in Premier Division: 8 (Shirerithian PSL - Pro-Soccer League)
Why do you think you deserve to host the World Cup?:
Shireroth is one nation that remains in the heart of Micras and such a country of its stature deserves to host a World Cup. Although it may have taken time for FMF to gain its presence in the area, Shireroth is a buzzing nation with increasing interest in the sport, especially following the recent developments of PSL. Having previously qualified in a World Cup a few years ago, we would like to take the honour and host it ourselves and allow the sport to continually grow. We're here not to host a world cup, but to create a World Cup legacy. We want to build upon our current platform and grow as a footballing nation. We've qualified before, we now want to host and eventually we want to take the glory and win the World Cup.
