2014 FMF World Cup - official reports and broadcasts
Re: 2014 FMF World Cup - official reports and broadcasts
I believe Joe has done it two times this year... with his comments had put some pressure over the referees LOL
Congratz Mercury on their first World Cup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I want to publicly thank the FMF staff for giving us a wonderful World Cup!
Expect to see major changes in Hamland for next competitions! Altough we leave the WC without losing in the regular time -and even the perfomance was higher than expected- it seems that there are some players that arrived to the end in their National Team career.
OOC: On a side note, two times the same this year: both Argentina and Hamland got to the final and did not bring the cup home

Re: 2014 FMF World Cup - official reports and broadcasts
Hamland's Scott Player of the Tournament
Hammish attacking midfielder Jules Scott has been awarded the Golden Ball for the 2014 World Cup, signifying his position as the tournament's official best player.
While Hamland managed to finish as runners-up, their overall performance was criticised, but Scott was a shining light for the side. His goal against Alexandria decided the side's quarter-final, and he opened the scoring in the final; converting his shoot-out penalty to boot. Scott's award may raise a few eyebrows, however, as he is generally a reserved and effective player, and not a stand-out star like some other player who played this summer.
Regardless, that shouldn't take away from his tournament, and the FMF wishes its congratulations to Jules!
